And people thought madrid would not have won so many champions league if there was VAR. No system or rule is useful if not executed, VAR is only going to increase more haters as they will now be able to see for 5 min, the atrocity, closeup. While the decision in the end is the same

is strange to see madrid playing like a team. good for them, but girona simplifing the game for madrid with those penalties. amateur actions of girona defenders...

Great team performance, this comes no surprise to me that bale is scoring , he always steps up when he is healthy, i just hope he stays fit, he deserves to have whole season injury free and become main guy, and i know benz has been over doubts, but he can once again be beast, and overall i hope all the players have good seasons, isco, asensio etc and as well courtios with shared games along with navas....Hala Madrid!!!!

Many of them were Ronaldo fans on footy room this is why Real Madrid page lost attention. In ucl games there have been votes 1000 -1500 for Ronaldo and anything relate to Messi will be downvoted. I think that will change now because there is no direct competition..

If RM signed more players like Bale, Modrich and Navas and stayed away from the likes of Penaldo, Pepe, Vasquez and Casemiro, didn't bribe referees in order to get all the non-existent penalties in the world and did not rig the CL draws every year, they might have gotten more respect for what they are!

I knew Real would become scary because they need to prove that they can win titles without cr7 just like Barca did last year after Neymar left to psg. I don’t understand why Girona stupidly attack after scoring first goal..

No offence to Real Madrid but I personally think you will win the league this season. Messi is not gonna accept any bullshit, it's his season to be the La Liga king now that CR7 is out of the league. Messi needs to the Ballon D'or since CR7 has been winning it year after year, last time Messi got the Ballon D'or was 2015

You know right that you need champions league for ballon d or. Laliga is not easy because we have to win against European champions - Real Madrid and other teams already read valverde tactics and Barca game play and players physicality allows any team to park the bus but this Madrid can play plan a and plan b if required.. Barca pretty much struggled in both games that’s my concern but real playing good football and attacking. I hope we play good in upcoming games and utilize new signings this season instead overusing first team like last year..

@Lambo91 With or without Penaldo, Messi never stopped being the king. The Portugese marketing bimbo is headed for a very bad surprise in Italy where he'll find out penalties are seldom given, no one will put up with his drama and he'll end the season with 9 goals. Any league is better off without the likes of Mourinho and Penaldo.

Anybody noticing Ramos is trying to redeem his penalty mars shooting lmao I think it's selfish making him take the penalties I think either Bale or Benzema should always take it; they're the forwards that need the comfort in those kind of situations not a defender.

Ramos is the captain and he makes the decisions. The guy has almost scored 100 goals in his career from centre back and right back!

This was Navas best performance ever with Real Madrid! Overall deserved win. Gotta say Girona were brilliant in the first half, problem is with that kind of pace and energy spent, they were bound to decline in the second half.
