Very good match from both sides, but I was amazed by the chances Spurs had. It could have gone either way but draw was probably deserved, both Lloris & Navas made some amazing saves, great game overall.
What a great game that was. Extremely exciting. Couldve gone either way, both goalkeepers were fantastic.Very proud of spurs for that performance. They did not look out of place tonight, especially missing some very important players in Dembele, Wanyama & Alli. Special shout to Winks, Llorente and Sissoko who all really stepped up and played extremely well.
Did anyone notice that madrid didn’t panic start putting crosses into box from wings.. they were actually trying thru or lob balls instead from midfield.. I think zidane realized teams have been studying madrid for very long about their crossing game, so he changed plan to lob balls from midfield.. fucking bald head is agenius son of a bitch
You need some time to lob the ball in from midfield, though. Spurs were hounding Modric and Kroos all game and defended the midfield really well. It's really hard to find the time and space to lob a quality ball when your opposition is so tight to you.
I am not a madrid fan, it is very painful seeing them so successful under zidane era. I was very happy when zidane got appointed as manager but now I wish time goes back and 4-0 at Bernabeu didn’t happen that time.. because of zidane they stopped buying new players, casemiro never existed, wing/criss play never existed which is their true strength. I always appreciate great players and coaches regardless of their team...
1- vertonghen is just a jerk
2- is it just me or varane is not at the level real madrid need
3- this is not the "real" madrid plays. for me, its a bit borring ( especially for the midfielders ) it is frustrating
4- zidane need to sign a striker, probably lewandowski @ aubameyang, kane also can
chill man, i just said my own opinion. i just wanted to see varane play more comfortable than keep throw the balls out of field. & yup actually marcelo is poor :) :) :)
When did madrid build up play from center back? You’re never expect that from madrid CB, this is why modric and kroos drop to start build up.. Btw varane was not bad at all.
Vertonghen always acts like a little girl. It's so annoying to see grown men rolling around on the floor in football games. It's so cringe worthy. I enjoyed the game tonight though. Tottenham looked good.
kane does want to become a diver he will not go to uefadrid. People keep praising spanish giants for being successful at UCL and the lack of success of english teams, but they cannot see the mafia going on in uefa, daylight robbery, espanomafia.
Marcelo was horrible defensive wise great in attacking If you notice EVERY team Real playes they attack mostly on his wing because he plays so far up and seldom makes runs back.... CR7 off the ball movement is very poor he jus stands and wait the occasionally creates space by moving. Hakimi was great on the wing i liked the confidence however you can see they spoke to him Half time so he was very conservative for the second half #sad.... Varane was great Benzema was lost most of the game still not in agreement with Him being here vs Moratta sigh (my opinion) ....Over all "an ok" performance for Real. Spurs were GREAT poor challenges brought back real in the game if not they would have surely won. Real defense sleeps alot SMH.... CL is looking very entertaining this season.
Varane and Ramos kept falling asleep and let Kane and Eriksen slip through a couple of times... I think Madrid didn't see Spurs as legitimate competition before going into the game. It's too risky to be that cocky against competition like Tottenham. Hopefully they're motivated when we head to London because it will take a solid performance to beat the Spurs.
Great from both teams. Hard for Spurs away at the European champions home. Both teams wasted chances but in the end both keepers took the spotlight, kudos.
Might be different if Carvajal didn't have a pulmonary infection. Their entire performance hinged on Hakimi's inexperience and inability to put in quality crosses. That's why Vertonghen was so content to let him have the ball. If Carvajal was healthy, there's no way Spurs could have successfully defended both wings.

@Dynastian98 I couldnt disagree with you more. Carvajal would have not made a difference tonight. Tottenham were fantastic. Don't forget spurs were missing 3 key players tonight.
