Barcelona

Three Champions League titles in four years; incidentally the competition that's the biggest in club football. We're still competing and have the experience/trophy cabinet to stand a great chance. Keep the league. Meh!

no kidding. There are a couple of teams which have better midfield than Barcelona.

Barca attack > any attack in the world

Lol Suarez is finished and Messi bottles from time to time and Dembele cant hit a barn door.

*real

We know that from beginning. I would have substance over style but valverde is not a good coach as he is not a risk taker. None of Barca 2nd team players developed under him unlike Real young players who are beast now and can win big games without cr7.

Still champs ;)

and hand.

HAHA.

copa final this weekend

I should remind you that yesterday at Malaga and many away games this season Real Madrid won without Cristiano. Even Real Madrid fans agrees they have a team that can win elclassico without cr7 but Barca nothing without messi. You certainly want everyone to credit Ronaldo for anything. I know you’re one of those stupid fan boy hard to argue. Please cr7 fans dislike my comment because truth hurts, by the way I am not taking credit from your god cr7, just saying the fact..

That's coz Barca have a mediocre squad if you take Suarez iniesta busquets stegen and pique out while Madrid can put asensio at Ronaldo position

Real madrid won most of their games when cr7 didnt play.

Lol Ronaldo at 33 is barely subbed ever. And still performs at the very highest level in the World and still breaks records.

Lol I think you don’t understand English. If you read comments you would not replied irrelevantly. RM can win games without cr7 but Barca can’t without Messi and you’re bringing boring topic of cr7 breaking records at 33.. learn English, I hope your country might have good schools.

@diehardbarca I think the game today against Athletic just proved how Ronaldo is so important to Madrid and proved you wrong. Yes sometimes it feels like he only scores goals but the amount of attention that he demands from the defenders is already very influential and it goes without saying how his competitive nature and determination helps the team so much when they are facing good teams and difficult situations like going down on the scoreboard.

LoL! So many dislikes in these comments. Although most of them are stating the truth. Why people can't accept that Barca plays really bad without Messi and that CR7 has been more effective recently since he has been rested more. Barca will become so monotone if the answer for all problems is Messi. Valverde need to find another solution

Dislike means "oh i hate you for stating facts"
I mean for the same reason they voted him man of the match. Just because he was standing on the way of modric's shot.
Say cr7 is the goat. You will get 50 likes.

@cvaliente. Really man. Don’t lie to yourself that goal against athletic goes to Ronaldo. That shot was going in regardless of Ronaldo touch and you should have seen modric face after Ronaldo claimed that goal.. lol. no wonder how many dislikes to my comments. I am okay you credit for goals but anything and everything Ronaldo doing should not be credited.

If you look at it, it actually wasnt going in lol. Yes i do agree it was quite an easy goal but yest somehow he always finds himself in the position to score easy goals. Why aren't all the other football players scoring so many goals?? Why doesn't any other top striker score so many easy goals??? at some point you gotta start wondering if maybe it isnt actually luck and he is simply the best at positioning himself. I think after 10 years of scoring so much he has proved that is the case.

Your team threw too early and blaming Barca for their failure. No doubt how filthy Real Madrid scums are.

You got smashed by whole Liga mate and at home.

focus on bayern sunshine

Girona?

tiki you got smashed by whole of CL.

Bald genius dont you remember what King CR did to Bayern last year?

pelle Thats right we smashed Girona 6-3 last meeting. How is Paris CL campaign going?

ronaldo can score and madrid still lose --> juventus

yeah lose and still advance which is what matters. makes real sense huh

real sense madrid still beatable

Agree. Barca has to bring more quality to the subs. They can't always count on Messi for all matches.

@tuan_jinn I’m pretty sure Dembele, Semedo and Coutinho could go into any team in the EPL. Don’t exaggerate. Your first team can’t even beat the last place team, at least celta have made Europa before and gone far in the competition. West brom is just garbage

@HideTheChicken: Yeahhh that's a bit exaggerate. I meant after Coutinho subbed off. Btw, even with the 3 that's not enough for Barca... the first team is aging, Busquet is so important and faced fitness issue, Iniesta is too old and leaving to China. Suarez just doesn't do well in CL... Umtiti seems very distracted and start to be exposed badly (especially when Messi and Busquet are injured). AND, with this form, no Semedo is still just a potential, while Dembele... really? with this form... tooooo over priced

Man, I know, MU sucks badly these days, and I especially dislike our coach's tactic. But that says how bad this Barca subs are...

Think about high price tags like a future value rather than a current one. Dembele has a huge potential (10+ years of football), you see the skills and pace and vision he has. He needs time to develop, he’s not messi or ronaldo. It’s so hypocritical of other fans to base his first season (especially with injury) with his price tag when they themselves have players who are growing as well with high price tags (Lukaku and Pogba). All players need time to adjust. They themselves did not pick their value.

By that logic, no-one ever tagged as overpriced or over-hyped. He has potential, absolutely no doubt. but with that price? Everyone knows it was a panic buy. Breaking a fragile/insane market for a tad loads of cash based on a as shady transfer as Neymar from Qatar's money is a bad move in any book. Of course it's a pity he's injured. But spraying cash to every potential seed, while your club is in debt is putting finger in FFP's nose.

I'm not discussing about how screwed up the market is (player like Paulinho, 45mil?). Lukaku and Pogba are growing as their price-tag? I'm sorry Im not one of those who buy it, they are BOTH overpriced. Not that I don't appreciate them, I do. But Im not deluded to know, they have NOT delivered to what they were bought at. Back to my point, the main point is... Barca needs to invest on their squad depth. The moment Messi is under-performing, they are just like a mid-table team. Rotation is almost not there, and it will cost Barca in the long run.

I agree, the market is so overpriced. You might say that it started when Madrid bought Ronaldo and Kaka and broke the transfer fee record twice in the same summer. But these were two players who had won the two previous Balon d'Ors and had porven they can play at the highest level they weren't projects in the making, they were already grown footballers and Madrid knew what it was paying for. Now clubs are paying ridiculous fees for players like Mbappe, Pogba, Dembele because of their potential, what happened with letting a player develop and then making the bid?

I like Sergi Roberto as a midfielder, not as a defender. And what he did just showed the reason why Semedo should be number 1 RB. You do not pull a player back like that when you’re the last man back, automatic red. The guy could have missed, who knows. It would have been 2-2 and the momentum could have continued as Messi and Roberto changed the game and we could have scored a goal, but not with ten men on the field. It was a stupid play by him.

alcacer goal and assist. wouldve actually saved you from roma if he played

I do not think you watched the game, that goal is just lucky toe tip touch, that assist was just horrendous touch. If dembele played yes we would have chance against roma not alcacer

Alcacer did better than Luiz Saurez, He had an assist and goal. Dembele should have stayed along with phil .Coach was dumb enough for subs.

Who is Saurez? :DD
