De Gea again saving United from a defeat at home against Southampton. The fact is they'd be a mid table Premiership club if it wasn't for a broken fax machine.

In minutes 80' drama:

(Young doing the free kick)...
Matic: This is it, i must try hard to score, we must win!
(He run from middle and kick the ball to the net)

This was Mkhitaryan's last Man United game!!

The amount of time it took Lingard to get the shot away on that 89' chance was remarkable. The defenders were so tired they couldn't mark anymore but he was even more tired his first touch enabled them to walk towards him and block

Don't get me wrong De Gea is world class but I feel like his saves are overrated. Like that save against Tadic just went straight at his foot and you'd expect any professional goalkeeper to save that but everyone is going crazy over it why.

honestly, other keeper wouldn't be able to get the ball over the post with just his foot. That is absolutely good save from him

Plus watch his movement!! The ball was on the opposite direction of his body, and that is not easy for any any any goalkeeper

Lol incredible. As much as I love mou, he has lost his touch and if he doesn't change then this will be his another failure. He need time off and think about new strategies because it is easy to read his over used tactics.

Yea I definitely agree with tactics. I see a bunch of long passes or crosses from the side that could be easily taken care of by defender. I think they can do much better.

Poor. Just poor from Man Utd. Southamton proved that they know how to play as a team while United didn't

With Mourinho, you know that it's all going to start crumbling down in a matter of time.

Unfortunately that's true. I think he's quite one-dimensional in his philosophy and tries a bit too much adapt his game depending on who the opponents are.

Manchester United, England 0 845

Yeah the adapt part is a great shout. He should be creating a team that other people try to adapt to but can't. I think pep with city has done it right at the moment, teams have to change their game plan to play city, and no one can adapt to their game at the moment. Also through time, fear adds into factor and teams naturally are scared and have it on the back of their mind that city will punish them. Whilst with United, teams aren't scared and believe they can win. That belief seems to be working since teams are battling back like nothing, Mou has to step it up in 2018. If all the big teams manage to beat City, or City have injuries to key players, then the title race is on and if Mou hasn't stepped it up, then that's an opportunity lost.

Agree with both of you. I feel as though the league now (with Mou, Pep, Conte, Poch, Wenger, and Klopp) is too strong for a manager to focus on beating a specific team every week. Conte last season had a clear identity, and no-one could counter the 3-4-3. Pep this season has got his side playing true Pep football and they go into each match with that philosophy. Mourinho's tactics are all over the place.

United just needs to convert their chances to goals. I'd say they've been unlucky for quite a few games.

I think they should switch formation to a 4-3-3 and play martial, rashford and miki up front and then have matic, pogba and herrera in the middle....instead of just smashing balls into the box the whole time wich is duff football to watch!!!

I read several times that Mourinho was like the 4th or 5th choice for United coach, the others turned them down.. well, it seems about right

Love the honesty most United fans are showing on this site.
Facing the hard reality that all of us are way off the mark in competing against the likes of City with our present liabilities.
