MARTIAL!!!! that is the martial we like to see...unbelievable skill and control

most agonising penalty shootout i have ever witnessed...wouldn't have been so had lindelof not made that foolish tackle

everyone seems to think that Real Madrid B equalised cos they were better when in fact its clear to see it was down to a mistake we made...the opposition had no part in making that penalty happen

Horrible game.....sloppiest football I've seen in a while. Second half and the penalty shootout was just sad....

not bad for a first game. Man u are a tough team and we played well against a side that already has a few games under their belt. The youngster team zizou put on the second half played really well. The game was rubbish but it has good take aways

Hope both teams will play in the same group of the Champions league to see more broken bones and real fight between them .

Martial took on Carvajal and Luka Modric, and still people thinks he's shit. Yeah, he might have missed the penalty, but I still think he's worth more than 36 million quid.

@themancunian +1

he'd be abt 60mil in the current crazily inflated transfer market

Yeh he has the talent....but where is the consistency?? We haven't seen that last season that's the reason behind his lower than expected "price"

Is there any point in playing those friendlies if there not taking it seriously? I mean they're supposed to play those games to prepare the season, right? What have they prepared exactly in this case? They're not even trained to take a penalty kick...

The point of those pre-season tournaments is to get more fans for the clubs all around the world. It's all about the money nowadays.

I agree with jaaaar .. It's becoming more of an advertising way for the gian clubs rather than real preparation for the new season.

Those penalties are dreadful, it is like taking a penalty for the first time in Fifa 17. Martial looked good with the dribble but other than that nothing much to take from this game looked like both team were accepting this a friendly practice match. Hope Ronaldo will be up for the Uefa super cup with Micki and Lukaku starting up for United.

sorry to disappoint you but ronaldo wont be playing in the super cup either. zidane said he wont be playing due to the fact that the season starts abt half a week later and it is too risky in case he gets injured before the season actually starts.

It was easier to score than to miss for Fellaini. Ball almost went for a throw in.

Super boring game, but honestly Madrid's youth team in 2nd half outplayed United's 1st team. They are hungrier and more driven than the starters. Good display by Guti's boys.
