No doubt Ronaldo is MOTM today because he played like a team player if he plays like this I am not seeing any stop for madrid. Zidane puts team first and forces his star player to do same. I think this is all due to Zidane's charm. Anyways I should move on but honestly I started liking Zidane more than any coach in the world.

Thanks. I guess most of the teams in this round are just giving what was expected from them, nothing out of the ordinary yet.

The day when Ronaldo will (honestly) cheer for a goal, scored by his teammate (anyone, anywhere), will be the day when eternal peace will come down to this world! Despite the fact that he played a great game tonight, assisted in some of the goals, the vanity-obsessed prick simply cannot (even force himself to) feel good when his teammates are scoring goals.
Just carefully watch his reaction, body language (even if you can't see it for a long time) when Morata scored the 5th goal. Instead of being happy for it (plus, it was his assist) he's mad 'cause Morata didn't passed him the ball back, so that he can score from a good position!
That's why people hate him, and will continue to do so, despite being one of the greatest. And that's another important difference between him and Messi

Mate, you're full of crap. First of all, it is rude for anyone to celebrate a goal excessively when it's a 5-1 game. And if he wanted to score the goal, he could have shot it himself without having to pass the ball. Instead of complaining, why don't you just accept him and Messi as one of the greatest and enjoy the game. Why would you even observe a player's reaction after he assisted a goal? Shouldn't you focus more on the game and the goal itself? It just seems to me that you're mad at Ronaldo for some reason and that you're just finding small random stuff to shit on him. Get a life dude

It's hardly like Ronaldo is concerned with politeness, did you see his celebrations in the international break when Portugal were already like 5 or 6 goals up?

Dammit Danilo :D
What a goal by Bale
And wonderful match for Ronaldo.
Question though: Why own goal if it only deflected?

I think because the deflection drastically changed the direction of the ball after Marcelo's shot. But I might be wrong, hard to tell why that counts as O.G. sometimes

@Gunner_ It was ruled an own goal because Marcelo's shot would've missed the net if it wasn't deflected. A shot that's on target solely due to a deflection from a defender results in an own goal.

Cr7 has finally realized that football is a team sport. May that help (some of) his fans too realize that football is not only about goals. Congrats real mardid, great display

getting away the assists he has average performance. Ronaldinho, Ronaldo *the real one*, zidane, griezman... they dont need goals or assists to be man of the match

Yeah but footballer was judged much differently back then than it is now .. These days player need to score x amount of goals and make x amount of assists to be considered player of the year ..

no.. gotze was not better than any of his team player even if he scored the only goal in wc final nor was eder... neither most of the players who get subbed in the final minutes..
but here one can clearly see that morata's entrance brings another kind of energy and better attacks..same was the case in match against sporting..
but you being a ronaldo and madrid hater know very little except barking all the time..
so shut up.. nobody needs your dumb opinion..
