Danilo was still the same. He never seems to improve in any way or form. I'm sure the only reason he plays is because Carvajal isn't 100% fit. Zidane would much rather put Nacho at RB, but Marcelo is injured as well....

He's recovering better than planned. He could be back on Feb 18 for Real Madrid vs Espanyol. He will definitely miss the 1st leg against Napoli in C1 though (Feb 15).

He isn't the sample player that could take on a player and smash a goal from 30 yards like nothing. He's adapted but It's so strange seeing ronaldo move now. It's like he has a permanent injury or his legs have been changed, because no way in a year can you be clueless with the ball at your feet like he is at times recently. Strange... I think he knows that'll be his last Balon D'Or and he'll slowly decline now, so he'll adapt and become a different player. I reckon Benzema will be sold and CR will take CF

Maybe its because he is getting older. I agree that it was his last balon d'or ;) It's kinda sad for me, I feel like his golden years are behind him, end of era :/ I think it will be more likely for him to keep his current position, Morata is great CF.. if he wont improve next season i think that he'll be start losing his 1st squad position.

The only reason Morata doesn't start is that Benzema and Zidiane are French buddies. Morata comes in and creates 3 goal chances in a matter of 15 mins. I think Vasquez should start at right back. Both Danillo and Nacho are sub par. Another solid defensive game from Casemiero. Hala Madrid

Vasquez can't defend and his work rate will be rinsed and his attacking opportunities will be lessened. Carvajal is crucial once he's back. Benzema will hopefully go this summer. I can see Ronaldo taking CF as he is a box player now and then buying a big signing for left wing or someone else to fill that gap/.
