I think it had to do with Verratti being out, that young man picks apart opposing teams with motta who also got injured before half time, Matuidi being suspended, David Luiz playing poorly in the first leg, and not winning at home. that was the death of PSG this season.

I know it is not ligue 1 but.. this PSG team plays in a mickey mouse league. Even when they do not perform that well, they still manage to win! huh --"

PSG should have done better against Manchester City but I would not put the blame solely on Blanc for that failure. I think it has more to do with the fact that PSG rarely plays against any meaningful competition in their domestic league...

Yeah, good points Cuore_Granata. I'm sure it would have been a different story as well if PSG had made the most of their chances in the first leg.

I'm not a fan of PSG per say, but I do try and follow teams outside of Italy that have players for the national team, and Verratti is exquisite. PSG just are not the same thing without him, I hope he recovers in time for the Euros being that Marchisio is now out.

Blanc is really smart, he plays this rigid and dynamic mid-field game that is not seen in any part of Europe. That makes this team lethal against any opponent, and they can adapt to any team. Now as for as the Champions League, you don't know how annoyed I was with City going through and by doing nothing spectacular. Those garbage goals by City in the 1st leg plus Luiz doing his mess, and Matuidi, Verratti being out really cost them. I just hope Zlatan can stay one more season, cause this team will get the championship there is no doubt about it. Just look at the squad of young players that will get more time this coming season.

I do not agree that english teams are better, in fact they played better when Pellegrini decided to bench Yaya, so do not give me that bs that coaches have nothing to do with it, it makes u seem ignorant. no doubt in my mind Juventus would be there at the expense of City if they got past Bayern (tough draw)

City were better than PSG the second leg but not spectacular. anyone who watched football regularly sees how players like Verratti change the game. and he was only one of the many who were out for PSG.
