they should change the rules to at least allow an offside goal by at least 1cm or so. it doesn't make a difference when is that small of an offside. it would still have been a goal if he was onside, come on apply some common sense to the rules.

If Eduardo Vargas becomes top scorer for Chile, Alexis Sanchez is going to be pissed. Vargas has a shit goal scoring record for all his clubs and turns up only for Chile. At the rate he is going he might be the only striker in history to score more goals for his country than his club.

Remember Klose?

trololol 9 years ago Edited

Arsenal 0 212

Klose got 231 goals playing in Bundesliga and Serie A, 71 for country.

Vargas has 65 goals, 43 scored in Chile (way lower standard) and 34 for country. Can't hit double digits for past 6 seasons in better leagues.

This video technology is going to ruin football. it is just a game after all, who cares if it is offside by 1 cm, it not the end of the world. let the game continue without those stupid interruptions

lol every other sport in the world has video review and you don't see any of the fans complaining, ex. hockey, basketball, football heck even tennis has it. give me a break with this bullshit

Get used to it. Finally football is a fair game thanks to video refs.

Kazooie06 9 years ago

it was used 4 times till now in this cup and every decision was right, so whats the problem? you guys dont want a fair game?

Pirlinho 9 years ago

Juventus, East Germany 0 59

fair game? sure, but let's not forget this is just a game, this is not a court, nobody risks losing his life if a bad decision is made once in a while. on the other hand, the interruptions are just killing the rhythm of the game. Maybe they should find a why to make use of it in a way that does interfere with the game

Apparently lots of people complained, that's why they implement it. Get over it, video tech is here to stay.

Chile needs to improve their finishing, they missed so many chances in the first half. If they do that, I will say that can win this.

Yvan21 9 years ago

0 440

don't forget we still haven't seen Germany ;) but Chile can go far for sure if they do that

amir_keal 9 years ago

Arsenal, Netherlands 66 2895

Yeah your right. Germany will always compete right to the end. I certainly hope to see that sign tomorrow.

FanInterMilan 9 years ago

Inter, Moldova 1 1712

yeah at least Sanchez need to improve his finishing for sure

amir_keal 9 years ago

Arsenal, Netherlands 66 2895

Actually Sanchez's main point is finishing, and Chile still got a second goal. One accidental screw up should never define someone, especially when the team still scores.
