Who do you want to qualify instead? Lithuania? South korea are technically very gifted, but lacked a clinical edge in final third. Doesn't make them unworthy of the world cup.

despite the scoreline i actually thought it was quite interesting. korean goalkeeper had quite a good game. the ref was quite annoying though, literally every single time the korean centre back went for the aerial challenge he called a foul.

It is a stupid opinion. Football is unpredictable sport, cruel to those who take ice hocke nation too lightly and at times luck is also needed. Iceland is 300 k population same amount of players are registered as pros in Argentina but yet they drew against them and part time fisherman saved penalty shot of one of footballs greatest footballers.

Marcus, are you an idiot?? So what, they're just going to start awarding World Cup spots to countries based on history and past performances instead of how they are playing NOW??? Sweden deserved it, they beat France in qualifying, Netherlands suck right now, and they beat Italy over two legs. Completely fair for Sweden to be there, and heck, they may even go through to the knockout rounds. Italy hasn't been to a knockout round since 2006.

@Marcus2011: Your argument is weak. Through the history Sweden has 7 wins, Italy 11 and 7 games has ended with a draw. So according to REAL statistics Italy would win 4.4 games per 10 games played (And not 7 "at least" like you say). You are annoying when trying to make your opinion the only truth. Be objective and stop arguing ridiculously against Sweden. We know that Italy is historically better, but what matters now is what happens now. And now Italy is not qualified, as they were eliminated by the same Sweden you belittle.
