How can people vote Iran as top class or as great and Spain as lucky? Iran defended with 10 people and we're falling down like Spain had snipers in the stands. It was simply ridiculous. Spain didn't play great, but you can not call them lucky. At the beginning of the second half, Spain had ~460 successful passes and Iran had 60 passes... I will probably get downvoted by those who have absolutely no idea of football, but teams like Iran should be banned from world cup. Disgracefull match from them. We want to enjoy football, not fall asleep.

Dont see anything wrong with Iran being defensive in their tactics against a stronger opponent. Thats part of game, especially since they were having 3 points and a draw against both portugal and spain would have strenthened their qualification chances.
What i detested was their negative tactics in wasting time, right from the first half. Still, they played with their hearts out and kudos to them. Hope them best against Portugal and wish they win.

Top class by Iran. Spain with their lucky BULLSHIT goal. They definitely did not deserve to win tonight. Iran was the better team by far. Sure they played boring as hell the first half, not so much of a football game to watch , but HELL that defence! Iranian defenders are almost world class. And second half, what a class by Iran, they could have easily drawed tonight or even win.

Portugal play defensive too and nobody seems to find it strange. Plus Iran created more goal occasions than Spain in the 2nd half. They put a lot more heart and fighting spirit in this match than their opponents.
