What a magnificent game by 2 great teams. Its an absolute joke that people keep going on about the Premier League being the best and most competitive league in the world when you watch a game like this. I have no doubt that Sevilla could win the EPL but its impossible for them to win La Liga with the two colossals Real Madrid and Barca. The EPL has turned into a very well marketed league with average overpriced players. Look at this..... Aleix Vidal and Tremoulinas cost Sevilla €3M each whilst United paid £30M for Luke Shaw! I think this says it all!

Third best team in Spain imo

Montella wasn't there .he would have just switched Salah and Juaquin positions and that would keep Vidal back ...Aquilani was a must in the 2nd half.

SOLID! What a game by Aleix Vidal, still can't believe we bought the guy for only €3M. Hasta al final!

Crazy to see a right back with 2 goals and a assist.

If you play in La Liga, that's kind of the expectation and standard

AI7 - I respect you opinion but I dont agree with it. I have no doubt that if teams like Sevilla, Atletico Madrid or Valencia played in any other league they would be title contenders, but because they play in La Liga we keep comparring them to Real Madrid and Barca and that way we lose scope of just how good these teams are. You dont dominate a European competition for a whole decade if your teams are not superior to the rest. Take into account that players like Delofeu, Denis Suarez, Iago Aspas, Cristoforo or team captain Fernando Navarro didn't even play last night such is the depth of their squad.

Only ignorants compare the price of 19 years old players with 28 years old ...

pipi_caca - The only ignorant c.. here is you mate. For a start Aleix Vidal is 25, not 28 and if you are refering to Tremoulinas, well lets have a look at some prices paid for players of more or less that age.... Falcao - Monaco paid €63M for him at 27. Etoo - Inter bought him from Barcelona when he was 28 for €36M. 2 years later he signed for Anzi for €20M. Henry signed for Barca at 30 with Arsenal receiving €24M for his signing fee. Tevez - Signed for Juve at 29 for a fee of around €30M..... Enough there? So who is the ignorant one then? But wait, I´ll give you some examples of players closer to Shaw´s age. Jordi Alba - Barca paid €14M at 23. Marcelo - Signed for RM at 18. RM `stole´him for €6M! Juan Bernat - Bayern paid €11M for the 21 year old. And all these are much better than Shaw!

average over priced players my ass. and im sorry over 38 games, sevilla would not be able to win the epl. dont get too carried away

Abdul Moiz 11 years ago

Look at the quality of the strikes of Vidal. Absolutely disgraceful. Like passing it to the keeper towards the near and the GK being even poorer.Hahahahahaha Sevilla will win the PL. If you regularly watch EPL even Barcelona will struggle in EPL due to its toughness

dirty_harry 11 years ago

nobody says that EPL is the Best League in International competition but EPL is the league with the most money fans good games etc
