When everything is in order and when every body do their JOBS properly and when no EXTERNAL factor play a decisive part the real quality of a team appears and we've being seeing this every year .. you already know what i mean.

I don't know why people comment about mafia and what not. I thought BOTH clubs were poor today. Look at the shot stats. People love to talk trash about the Old Lady. The Calcio scandal happend 10 years ago. Let it go.

I have all the respect for what Juve have achieved in Serie A over the past 3 plus seasons but a bit like Manchester City, they lack the required mentality when it comes to competing in the champions league. Yesterday the controlled large chunks of possession, but the reality is that they never seemed to show they had real belief they could win / take something from the game.

Turan's second result-determining goal after Real Madrid. It looks like it'll be a golden year for him.

Inter and AC Milan must be happy :). To be honest it looked like both teams were to scared to lose this one. Draw would have been fair, good job atleti.

Exactly. Now this is a good comment from neutral perspective :) wish there are more like you who try to analyze instead of pointing fingers and blame it on "external factors".

Milan fan guy, it was ONE game that Juve lost. First match and first goal of the season I mind you. To say Juve are like City in the CL shows your ignorance. How are Juve like City? Do City have 2 CLs and were runner ups FIVE times? No. Did City go sorta far two years ago and lose to the champs Bayern? No. Yes last year Juve were eliminated in the group stage and it sucked. Left a bitter taste in all our mouths. But you cannot judge a club based on one season in the CL especially when other clubs like United, Chelsea, Arsenal, etc have all been eliminated from the group stage at one point in time in the last decade. Besides, this is the group stage. Clubs are allowed to lose a game or two. Still plenty of matches to go and I hope we beat them next time. Cheers. FORZA JUVE!

Everyone praising Simeone saying that he is a genius.. But if we played like Atletico did, everybody would go nuts saying we parked the bus -_- sad but true!

kal 12 years ago
yeah but chelsea has world class players, so it's a shame if they park the bus while they have players like schurle hazard oscar or fabregas. While atletico has to do this to win because they don't really have world class players, so it's their only way to win.

Yeah.. you got a point there, maybe you are right kal :/

ok, so according to you, Atletico doesn´t have top class players. So Turan, Koke or Griezzmann aren´t world class players. We spended 100 millions in players this year but we don´t have good players. Come on!!!!

What surprises me about this game is not their win over Juventus. But it's the number of yellowcards of Juventus' side which is higher than Atletico's side. Well done Atletico! The King of Spain beats the King of Italy.

juve always show a poor perfomance in the champions league against non italian teams that shows how easy italian league is. i would love to see the perfomance Juve used to show back in the 90s

both teams played very bad. We have to admit it, and a draw would´ve been the fairest score. I think we both were very afraid of losing this game, but I can´t understand why Simeone has always Griezzmann in the bench, and i'd say the same with Cerci.

Apart from Chelsea, I have never seen a team in me life that wastes more time than Atleti. They were even pretending to have diarrhea after that goal.

We have the capabilities to beat the best teams in the world, but we underestimate our abilities to get the victories... Rather than going for the win, we play for the draw. I'm sick and tired of seeing these types of performances. We're so much better than this. As a club, we need to change our mentality going into games against big clubs, because we give big clubs wayyy to much respect, and we don't give ourselves enough respect. We seemingly had no game plan in the final third of the field. We took great control of the back and midfield, but looked lost when we neared Atletico's boxFor as long as we keep underestimating our abilities, we will forever be a mediocre club in champions league.

Referee was total waste today. He gave many call in favor of Atletico therefore 3 juve cards were for protesting.
