They are mostly Illyrians who have been in modern day Albania and other parts of Balkans much longer then when Slavic tribes settled in 7th/8th century.Sicne we are here. DNA testing of many Bosnians, Croats, Serbs and Albanians has clearly shown that Albanians and Bosnians have the most traces of Illyrian roots. (Bosnians do have Southern/East Europe roots laced with Slavs and Illyrians and very tiny bit of Ottoman.)

Agreed, man. I hate this mindless hate for each other because of ethnics disputes that have no bearing in our everyday life. Just a way for our governments to shift our attention way from poverty and misery that plagues both countries. That said, I am glad to see that both teams displayed respect for one another and are leading by example. Hopefully one day we will all co-exist as normal human beings, and not as "monkey serbs" or "donkey albanians" or however we like to insult each other nowadays.
