He's celebrating because he just equalled Bobby's Charlton's record for number of goals for England

England qualify for Euro 2016, quicker than any other country but, would be one of the quickest to be knocked out. Same again

OK footyroom...Firstly, Rooney celebration is stupid trying to be all spiritual/ emotional - just punch the corner flag or something, we know you are an absolute turd so quit that triangle shit. Secondly, almost all Rooney goals have been of little value... only ONE at the world cup...Charlton weeps for you. Thirdly, Stones is a b*tch not being a good sportsman, typical modern day money-in-your-eyes, no loyalty, bad role-model b*tch. Thank you.

it's always funny to see the lack of quality in the English teams. I am highly delighted by the fact that they won't be able to win shit in the next decade....soooooo much tv-money and just incapable to invest some in the youth, and even worse - the BPL clubs aren't able to reach CL semis anymore. It's simply amazing to see how much you suck at the sport you are so proud of to have invented. Big love

decade? let see. Liverpool 2005 to Man Utd 2008. That's 3 years. Man Utd 2008 to Chelsea 2012. That's 4 years. So 2005-2015 (1 decade) they already had 3 champions. Hell even Chelsea won it IN ALLIANZ ARENA!!!!! BTW, La Liga is superior in Europe at the moment.

I guess he's talking about your national team, which hasn't won shit in almost 5 decades. And probably won't win anything in the near future because English clubs love wasting money on foreign talent instead of developing their own youth. I'd say let the big boys enjoy their recent world cup title :)

weird penalty decision. Doesn't really matter. England would rip San Marino anyway with or without penalty.

one more goal and Rooney will be the english player to have scored the most goals in their history... before Bobby Charlton and Own goal... LOL

I can't believe people like you comparing Bobby Charlton to a guy that hasn't even reached world cup semis.

You don't appreciate enough what Rooney have done for the english team... but the point here was the funny note that own goals is a record holder

one thing i love about this english team is that they are all home based players which gives them perfect understanding as they know each others game
