Looks can be deceiving... The inadequacy of Wilmots causes the Belgian team to be sloppy in the attack. They have no clue what they're doing, they're just trying to find a weakness in the defense and score. We're lucky to have so much individual quality or we wouldn't have won against Bosnia or Cyprus.

He wasn't playing well. Lost lots of possession. It wasn't a good game from the Red Devils, but a win is a win, right?

Losing possession? Doesn't sound like hazard. I guess he's still not sharp. He needs to get fit fast

our manager said he almost subbed Hazard, which would have made sense because in the second half he basically wasted possession every time he got the ball...

Jblack when did Wilmott say that...? If anything Hazard and Naingollan were the two most threatening players for Belgium in the second half. The first half Belgium thumped the ball down and hoped for luck. The second half Wilmott took out the tall players so that Belgium can play football instead of thumping it down and hope for luck. Hazard wasted possession 3 times from what I've seen in the first half but other players were wasting far more possession

@Yoyo: post-match interview. In the second half he was really dreadful, up until the goal... But the entire team looked like they just didn't care or something

Even foreigners see it. The shit we have to put up with with Wilmots is incredible.

True, he's too oldschool and never changes anything even when he sees it goes wrong... But he has still got one big merrit: He made the Red Devils popular again in their country, making the community problems between Flemish and Waloons go a lot easier since then! WHAT FOOTBALL CAN DO! <3

LMFAOOO!!!

Hazard broke the spell I can feel Chelsea spirit coming back

He didn't celebrate because they played like shit. Hazard was the worst belgian. Hopes he gets his shit right for the next premier league game. And Chelsea should try to sign Nainggolan he's fucking fantastic

Nah there were far worse players in the Belgium side but as from the second half Hazard switched it up and was their only hope. Belgium is a boring team to watch in all fairness... they just thump it down and hope for luck. That is the last time I'll watch them.

Are you crazy? Vertongen and Hazard ware the worst belgians and the second half was his worst since a long time even if he scored. They are looking for that lucky goal yes. They need a good trainer. Someone at their level. Well they have Courtois and Hazard and ex blues too so why stop watching them?

He was not at all... He barely got the ball because of the thump it down tactics. The second half when they took Fellaini and Benteke off they started to pass it around and that's when Hazard managed to do his part. But Belgium despite the players they have, are a very poor team. If they were to come up against real teams they would easily be out-played. Cyprus was by far the better team, it's injustice they didn't win. Wilmott needs to change his tactics and make them play more football instead of playing like Stoke used to play 3 years ago.
