What's your point? Look at China - how many people live in China and how terrible is their football compared to much (MUCH!) smaller nations like The Netherlands or Uruguay for example? Yes, Turkey underperforms at the moment, but give some credit to Iceland. They have quite a few really great players.

In Iceland babies or given their fathers name in most cases. Sometimes they get family name like Eiður Smári Gudjohnsen. Boys get "son" and girls get "dóttir". For example Gylfi Sigurðsson is the son of Sigurður
