Barcelona just seems to lack the sharpness in attack and creativity without Messi. Undoubtedly, Barca without Messi is hardly the Barca we know so well. They need Messi back as soon as possible. Otherwise they're going to find it difficult to score against organized defenses.

When Messi plays, some say Messi cant perform without such a team. When Messi dont play they say Barca cant win without him. Seems like no matter what the situation they always twist it so that Barca and Messi are discredited. Its called being biased.

seriously. I admit that Barcelona is a great team, but hey, if we are talking about regeneration and backups, sorry, Barca really sucks. Valdes gone? they get Pinto. Pique, Puyol? Bartra. Midfielders? Sorry but all I know about Barcelona midfield is Iniesta, xavi, iniesta, busquets, and xavi, and iniesta again. Forwards? seriously, Tello?

R.I.P Iniesta and Xavi! They are getting tired each day. Barcelona needs more then only new defenders! they need a world class midfield like Modric, Vidal, Ozil. I hope they can survive this struggle! I used to like Barcelona's game style after they lost the ball the whole team run like crazy to get the ball back. But now you can clearly see if one or 2 players don't have the stamina to do this the whole team won't. Defending is with 11 men not with 4 with this strategy of Barca tho!

(At European level they never achieved much, but it is a very respected club in Spain!! composed of LOCAL players ONLY -Basque-!) and they are now on Champions League positions after this win!! What can you tell me about your beloved Marseille??
