Jordan played like warriors In this game. I know we still didn\'t qualify but I cannot believe the sheer fight that my countrymen showed despite having the crowd against them.. and the odds. Icannot beleive that we held one of the earths strongest teams at bay at there own back yard. Credit to Uruguay for doing the job in leg 1 you guys deserved it all the way. Say what you will. But this game will last long in my memory and I\'m calling Jordan he heros of Montevideo from now on

the top 4 teams in south america make it to WC. and the top 4 in Asia make it to WC. then the 5th place team from both continents play against each other to take the intercontinental spot. so jordan and uruguay were 5th in asia and south america respectively so they played for that last spot.
