I think we should just save face and admit that money cant buy team chemistry we have individuals overloaded with cash who cant even give a good account of thier pay grades, why does it have to be my beloved cityyyy!

I think people shouldnt critizise the man city team just yet, yes they played badly today, but when you have a lot of new players come together and play there is always going to be bad team chemistry at first. The Ajax players are known to have one of the best playing styles because they play so well together, this is because they have played together for over 5 years. Lets just see how Man city do after a few more matches together. Koodos to Arsenal for playing so well.

Arsenal should have spent big this year, it COULD have been their season. Moyes only just took over and Pellegrini is doing shit so far, it would be down to ARS vs CHE vs SPU ... Arsenal's net spend for the last five years is approx -£34m, and considering the club is a worldwide powerhouse racking in immense revenue annually they should be fighting for the EPL each season really. Adjust the wage structure and stop giving shit reserve players 50k p/w, stop selling and buy some world class talent. (please, I want to see my childhood club dominate)

pellegrini learn from wenger...

offside trap is not for city... for it city need pacy defenders. Defending deep and pressing high up in the pitch while attacking should be considered. This tactis is certainly gonna hamper city. And they are losing the beautiful game they used to play.

blah 13 years ago

Pellegrini insists on his defenders to form a straight line along the edge of the box when defending in their own half. You could hear Hart constantly bellowing at his team mates to "stay out the box!" during the game. I remember distinctly Pellegrini employing the same tactics at Villareal and it cost them many a time; and it's sure to cost city as well, at least until/if they get a hang of the strategy.

Hart what on earth happened to you?

I agree, he has had somewhat of a fall from grace although he is only young. Every keeper has a bad season like De Gea, and look at him now- arguably the best in the business right now.

I think most cash engulfed clubs like Man City, PSG and Monaco are trying to be like Chelsea. Having big money is good but doesn\'t guarantee success! Its the team play and chemistry between the players and the hunger to win, that gets the success that you desire.. like Chelsea 11 trophies in past 10 seasons! But it came with a price.. we lost such good managers such as Ancelotti, Di Matteo, AVB during this span. Glad that we got back Mourinho!!
