lol spurs are only 3 points behind Liverpool and he says no decent rivals out there. Think he's secretly a bit worried.

I wonder where Tottenham would be in the table if Sherwood was manager from the start of the season? well into the top 4 I'd say. They have only lost 1 league game under Sherwood.

Adebayor is going to make it very hard for AVB to get a good job again.

I think Tim Sherwood learned a lesson from the master of mind game Jose Mourinho to loan quality players to struggling teams to take points off against direct opponents. Lewis Holtby what a yiddo, did well today mission accomplished vs United, and also take points off against liverpool.

AVB would still have his job if he just played Adebayor. He did the same thing at Chelsea when he benched the Senior players like Drogba, Lampard, Essien and Cole. Chelsea only went on to win the CL with di Matteo after he left. He was Mourinho's assistant for so long. To think he was being hailed as the next 'Special one'. More like the 'Ordinary one'..

I like the way nobody mentions spurs for a top 4 finish, but they are quietly winnings games and picking up many points. Well done Tim Sherwood.

Lukaku is injured, and Traore had an issue with his hamstring (he was almost brought on though).
