Holland DESERVED the win. Everyone just sides with Mexico because they were the underdogs. Holland proposed more than Mexico in the end and had clearer chances. They were ROBBED of a penalty 2 times in the same play in the 1st half. The penalty for the 2nd goal WAS a penalty even if Robben exaggerates a little. Don't complain Mexico fans, it only makes you look pathetic. Accept the loss with honor because your team and your amazing goalkeeper Ochoa played well. Congrats to the Dutch for the pass to quarterfinals.

i honestly think that it was a genuine penalty and it wasnt a dive............robben has dived many times before and i wont argue with that , but today's penalty was the right call................hope atleast some of you agree with me!!!!

robben dived. he knew he could do nothing more with the ball in that area so he made the most theatrical dive out of marquez barely clipping him lol robben defies newtons third law of motion. thats pathetic of him having to rely on theatrics to help his team. be real. not Pinocchio

Holland is a good team, but it is no enough against Brazil or Argentina. Their defence is not very solid and in attack they rely heavily on Robben skills......they cannot make it against Brazil, even against this Brazil.

Argentina loses against Switzerland.. you will see!

Actually i think Netherlands is better than Brazil and Argentina. didn't impress me with their mid and defence. Argentina while a bit more solid in def relies too much on Messi.

Anyway, to me the "most complete" team could be Germany in a sense. They are quite balanced as defence and attack. They got 3 playmakers with good feet: Schwai......(dont remember the name), Ozil, and Lahm. And in attack they have of course Mueller, but they can count also on other few decent strikers like Gotse and Schurrle. Moreover, their defence looks quite solid because they apply Guardiola tiki taki passes which assure them a good possession of thee ball.

Netherlands DID not deserve the win and I am not a Mexico fan. They deserved the TIE, but not the win based in a DIVE (watch all replays on the Internet), the win should have been decided in EXTRA or PKs.I am waiting for the day when FIFA/UEFA will be fair play, which means, just as they rightfully ban Suarez for biting by watching the replays, they should ban ALL DIVERS (including Penaldo etc) by watching the video replays, even though in the game they may go with it because it happens so quick. I can guarantee you that they will be CURED of diving not later than 3-4 games being out.If they can suspend Suarez based on video reviews they can and they SHOULD suspend the divers too, whatever their names are.

Robben makes me sick. He had two earlier dives, which he admitted to, and so therefore should have been sent off for two acts of simulation, and then he went on to tell R. Marquez that he DID dive for the final penalty. The f***ing nerve of some people... makes you wonder why we even like to watch this sport

Robben didn't admit that he dived for the penalty foul. He admitted that he dived during one particular action in the first halve. Which wasn't even the one where his opponent broke his shin when tackling him in the 16, which should have been a penalty The mexican defender stands on part of Robben's toes, but more importantly, hits his knee against Robbens right foot. Does Robben exaggerate it? Yes. Is it a foul and therefore a penalty? Yes

Don't know how you can get any satisfaction out of cheating your way to a win. Robben is a cheater. Take a lesson from hockey and penalize the divers....!!!

Fernando soccer balls 12 years ago
Did he touch him enough to make the guy almost fly? because he flew in the air like it was strike by a bus , such an act of shame is called cheating , therefore is a cheat , just like Maradona believes he is a champion scoring goals with his hand ,the glory can't never be carry on their minds and they have to live with deceit all their lives

No WC Holland 12 years ago
Yet again Holland shows entitlement, Robben dives three times to get the win, they are not going to get away with cheating in every game to win the WC, just wait for the game where they play the violent game, and get sent off, Holland will be out soon.

Robben did get clipped lightly but did half a dive in the process so not enough for a spot kick in my eyes but thats how this world cup has developed and it all started with the opening match when that brazillian dickhead dived against croatia and now because of that scandal all the referees shit themselves when put under pressure.

The losing team still gets TOP CLASS votes more than than the winning team. It was a good game though so it's hard to say.
