Dani Alves plays a crucial role in Barca's system. Messi moves into the box, Alves push up as a winger, Xavi gives ball to Alves Alves passes to Messi = GOAL! I think every team needs a RB that can attack well and defend well. To let Alves go would be a big mistake.
