Very easy for Joachim Low to pick the striker (Reus - Gotze - Muller). Three incridible stikers plus 3 amazing playmakers (Ozil - Kroos - Schweinsteiger). What a team!

Reus is playing so well lately! Imagine if Germany had him for the 2014 world cup. They would have destroyed Argentina in the finals! He is just everywhere creating chances and finishing them!

dont listen to such dumb comments. özil did a good job, many good passes, great vision. to me one of the best german players on the pitch. kroos, boateng, hummels and reus played well too

Didn't watch the game, did Georgia play that well to "earn" themselves a 2:0 defeat? Because I had expected for Germany to win by at least 3 or 4 goals.

I have to be honest, I'm not very well acquainted with their national team :) Must've underestimated them then!

spain barely beat georgia in tbilisi, they scored at 87th minute and won 1-0.. france couldn't beat us,match ended 0-0 and we had more chances to score.. and with germany, both goals were scored because of the horrible defender mistakes, because one of our CB-s got injured at like 3rd minute and we had to play a 18 year old kid. so i say if georgia had a little more luck,we could've beaten both france and spain, and at least drawn with germany :D so don't underestimate us

well poland did kick our ass, can't deny that :D:D but if you remember,in the first half we played way better than poland,we had many good chances.. BUT,we didn't have the quality or the physical conditions to play as "N1" against team like them for 90 minutes,we got tired and conceded 4 goals in the second half.. and also that was the last match of Ketsbaia, our coach, who tried to show everybody that "parking the bus" (like he always did and people always criticized him for doing that) was the only way for a team like us to stand against big teams, and he obviously proved his point because we got decimated after playing "open" football against polish team.

What? Gotze did all the hardwork, he was just there at the right time. And I'm not saying he isn't playing well lately, but to say he would have destroyed Argentina is just a big fat lie.

Imagine Argentina had Tevez , Di maria(in the final) and "on form "Aguero (who was terrible btw because of the injury pre the world cup) ;you think Germany can withstand that front line ? I DONT THINK SO !

lorde 12 years ago
stop the delusion, you were lucky to win vs argentina, argentina dominated every inch of the pitch, but were unfortunate not to score on many occasions, adding a reus in the line up wouldn't change anything..

MrDude the reason why Argentina was so good was the back line and Mascharano. Nothing to do with the front line, but yeah the front line would be devastating it would have been in form.
