rarely i check my profile page here on FR ! i did it few minutes ago and i was shocked !! i was ranked 1st with a comment score around 7500 ( i dun remember exactly how much it was last time ) and now i'm 19th with comment score of 2853 !!!
i wasn't shocked becoz of that exactly but thinking that someone could do such thing and can thumb me down over than 5000 times and in a short period of time made me shocked !!!

It's a problem with the site I believe, everybody's thumbs up/down has altered, not just yours, wouldn't worry about it, sure it will be fixed soon.

i hope it won't be someone hacking the site ! :/

It's nothing I went from 30 something dislikes to almost 200 in such a short period of time, and I barely comment on stuff.

Mine too, but I went from 90th rank to 17th ? wooohoooooooooooooooooooo

I had a comment score of 200 now its 700 thumbs up

footaholic became 1st ranked. i think footyroom has changed the system, they rank users based on their preference, not on the amount of thumb ups, coz many users got multiple accounts which is not fair

It doesn't really matter dude...

So here goes the explanation. 

After reviewing the ranking system we realised that not all comment votes were being accounted for. Also some illegitimate comments were being calculated into the rank. We've updated the system yesterday and that's why there are changes in user rankings and comment stats. There are still a few little things to fix (like best/worst comment in user profile) but we should get it done very soon.

We sincerely apologize for the mistake on our part and for the confusion it has caused.

The thumbs up/down are showing the correct values now. Before it only showed thumbs up for comments that had an overal positive value and thumbs down for overall negative value. It didn't show all the thumbs up/down in between.

So, if you had a comment that has a +12 vote on it, which consisted of 20 thumbs up and 8 thumbs down it would count it as 12 thumbs up and totally ignore the 8 thumbs down. Now this is fixed. Now it would show 20 thumbs up and 8 thumbs down, hence increase in thumb stats across the user profiles.
