I recently came across an article featuring the biggest "What ifs" us football fans ponder on. It included some great "What ifs", but I want to ask you, what is you favorite "What if" question you like to ask about football?

Here's mine.

What if the Busby Babes never stopped to refuel at Munich?

We could have seen one of the greatest sides in history. Sir Matt Busby wouldn't have had to spend 7 years rebuilding their squad. Real Madrid may not have won 5 European Cups. Duncan Edwards may have gone on to be the greatest English player of all time.

These are thoughts that constantly go through my mind when I hear the words "Manchester United". So, what's YOUR favorite "What if" in football?

What if Cristiano Ronaldo had joined Arsenal instead of opting for United...

Ibrahimovic to Arsenal?

what if we put the money on ozil instead of getting bebe in 2010

if we never let Henry, Fabregas, Hleb, Flamini, Nasri, Clichy, Ibrahimovic go.
@GunnerAFC it was about Wenger who was looking on him too but I think Sporting wanted more money which was too much for Wenger.

What if Chelsea never sacked Mourinho?

What if Juventus bought Van Persie instead of ManUtd? (Note this both affects ManUtd and Juventus :P)

@Quik I also think that Wenger said at the time he was a fan and preferred team goals or something like that. I think that played a part in us not getting Ronaldo as well. 

what if EVERTON get the chance to play in CL?

Everton did in 2005. But Liverpool won the CL and took their place, haha.

ROFL! I remember that! I was too busy enjoying the EPL trophy at that time, but that moment gave me a good laugh.

What if Valenica won the CL back to back in 1999/00 and 2000/01

What if we never let Ronaldinho, Eto'o and Henry go

What if we never sold all our class players and cared less about debt?

What if Ronaldo took a penalty vs Spain in the semi-final of the Euro 2012?

@GunnerAFC, no, Everton did make it to the champions league, but they lost to Villarreal in the qualifying stage. Because of this incident, UEFA create a rule that says whoever wins the champions league and not be in the top 4 in their league would make it into the group stage while the 4th place team will not get into the champions league.

WHAT IF SUAREZ wasn't biting players?

What if, Henry didn't miss that chance against Barcelona in the CL final?

What if Herbert Chapman didn't die prematurely whilst Arsenal were the best team in England. How many more titles would we have won and would we have been the most prominent team in English history instead of United?

@Footaholic damn Henry was so unlucky in the final :(. After that match it was like another arsenal..

What if Ronaldinho was 1000% devoting to Football and not  at wasting his time at night clubs etc.. ?
