I would like Willian to join us even though we have loads of mids but I can see him play upfront too he is a skillful player and he can do miracles. I really like him and like how Shakhtar Donetsk play football. But we need a real striker! Rooney, Lewandoski or even Eto'o. or else I think we will be playing false 9.. all our midfielders & defenders can score goals anyways.

If Mata leaves (since Mou doesn't like him) Willian will have room. But Chelsea can't be that stupid to sell Mata especially since ManU is the most interested team.

Oh Willian. If that's the type of player he is, then good riddance. let him sit on a Stamford Bridge bench for the rest f his career. I always felt he was vastly over-priced to begin with, and would much prefer we spend 30m on Eriksen and Halilovic. Besides, this is only going down to piss off Tottenham/AVB.

I doubt he failed his medical at Tottenham. If he failed the medical, Chelsea wouldn't be chasing him either.

Hehe, I know it's far-fetched, V-man, but, do consider one thing: Mourinho specifically mentioned the Tottenham medical. He said that the medicals should be done ins secret, so that if the player is not right, you don't embarrass them and ruin their career.

Consider the chain of events:

1) Willian flies in for Tottenham medical.
2) Willian completes Tottenham medical.
3) No world whatsoever on the signing, despite Tottenham undoubtedly having a contract drawn up and waiting, should he be fit.
4) A full day later, Chelsea swoop in.
5) He is now undergoing a Chelsea medical.

Like TheGame said, Chelsea have few issues signing slightly dodgy players.
