Will Ibrahimovic manage to succeed with Manchester United?

Title says it all! Opinions lads!

Personally I believe his ego will carry him and Mourinho is familiar with the player he knows what he is capable of and what to ask of him, I am a bit frightened that United will win and a new SAF era will begin. Hopefully I am wrong because Conte seems so promising, I don't want to live in United's shadow again. Zlatan is something we should sign but we casted out the only thing that brought him to BPL. Last but not least I expect at least 20 goals by Zlatan or at least a top 5 finish on the goal scoring.

I don't think he'll succeed too much. He's getting old, and playing in PSG (really good team) in Ligue 1 (good league) is different from playing in Manchester United (not that good of a team) in the EPL (great league). Of course playing with Mourinho will help him a lot, but he still won't succeed as much with the team mates he has now. Compare his current team mates to Verratti, Matuidi, Motta, di Maria, Lucas, etc.

I don't think he'll be that 20-goal in the PL season striker that he's being marketed as, but I think he'll be very solid. I would be surprised if he was just terrible.

@Mortelmec Because yours is an absolute troll post and last but not least you are a twat so...

@Dynastian98 So true the support he had by PSG was much more than the one he will get at UTD but what if his finishing is top-notch? I mean a world class striker just needs a simple cross to score and Ibra proved he is one of them, maybe he will make the UTD playmakers look good as much as the PSG ones but I highly doubt it. Besides he has Fellaini [banter]!

@JozeMourinho Laugh all you want, I actually like Fellaini (jk).

To be sincere, I agree with Sun, he might not be an huge success but I don't think he will fail either. I think he will do a fine job for United, he might score around 15 goal this season. The best thing he will bring is his mentality, he will push everyone around him to be better and will be able to share his experience with Rash and Martial. Maybe he could help Depay as well. :p

20 goals ? Chalenge accepted :) No seriously if he is not injured and helped he will reach it. PSG was a creating chance machine, and apassing machine. If he is helped he will deliver, its not about defences in England spaces are wide open.

im a united supporter, and very excited for him to come

@Rowley

Free-flowing games end with the striker. Zlatan will have next to zero control of the "enjoyment" of a game outside of his finishing unless he drops into midfield during the run of play, which of course he shouldn't.

Zlatan even at this age, is a better target man than any player than Man. U has. He has the goal smell and he will score over 15 in the EPL this season. Plus, LVG isnt the coach anymore. The team will play better this year and he will have more chances to score.

Yes he will. His presence is enough to boost the team.

Uniteds current style of play, unless Mour changes it a lot fits Zlatan. He will be the target player and if United can get some runners to play off him, they will be more dangerous. He makes a lot out of nothing. He also brings with him an attitude. United fans know about this from Cantona. Mourinho and Zlatan will bring some spark, negative and positive clippings, and United will benefit from it.

I think Zlatan will probably score about 17 goals.
