@ FredTilson, I think Hart is criticized harshly vs Chelsea today. I for one thought it was zabaletas fault for the 2nd chelsea goal, hart would have cleared it away if zabalata left it.

It was Nastasic. He was closer to the ball and would have easily returned it to him. There is no need for a keeper to run so far out.
You have a point but i think Hart still would have dealt with and came out with the 1-1 draw
I came to the forum to look for this post and it seems people were thinking ahead of me. :)
Todays game... Chelsea's second goal was just a disaster for Hart. Giving out a rebound or not reaching an easy shot cant be compared with what he attempted to do today. I still think he is an amazing keeper, but every keeper has his days of darkness (usually at a young age). He should be switched with Pantilimon for a couple matches to see how city does without him.
He was amazing in the 2011 2012 season. Last season was just terrible for him maybe this season too.
I agree with @Fred. I think he should be "rested" for a few matches like Sczcesney was last year when he had a bad run of form. Plus, it gives Pantilimon a chance to show his worth. When I've seen him, he's looked good.
After watching the Bayern match, I'm fully convinced that Hart needs to go out. He's cost Man City FAR too many games in the last two years. He's not the world class keeper he used to be. Even Mancini's assistant at City stated that they had planned to buy Begovic to replace Hart, but got sacked before they could buy him.
What do you guys think? I think that Hart needs to be replaced by someone better at a club like City.
