Never knew he was that bad as you say so.
I'm not sure about that, everyone one remembers the 2011-2012 season, year of the title for city. He was world class. Sometimes you have to stick to your players and trust them. If I were city I would keep him and eventually he'll find his best form again.
@KingHenry
Perhaps a loan then? It would suit City better. They just simply can't let in goals that easily.
I think his decision making has been horrible. For example, his decision to rush for the ball VS Aston Villa that led to the goal. I agree he has been phenomenal in the 2011-2012 season, but not anymore.
You usually don't go from being amazing to shit overnight and it be permanent (please don't bring up Torres). I think he is a fine GK who is in terrible form. Perhaps he needs a break or something but get rid of him? No. You gotta think bigger picture than that as a manager.
Not every team works like Madrid that whenever a player is not on top form and doesn't play world class every single game the team buys a replacement and plans on selling him... Hart is one of the best Keepers in the EPL and City shoudnt sell or loan him at all, he is young and with a brilliant future ahead of him. He might be having a bad run but just give him time to recover, it is not entirely his fault to lose certain games, City''s defense hasn't been great either. Every keeper has had some embarrassing moments but experience is what makes a good keeper a world class one.
^ Two years is quite a "bad run" mate. And he's cost City quite a few games, actually. I'm asking whether a loan would help him or not.
And no, Madrid doesn't work like that. Please be more careful about the way you run your mouth off about my team.
Last season he was very regular and had some great matches. Not being in his greatest ever form doesn't necessarily mean he was on a bad form. Lots of teams in Europe would die to have a keeper like him in their squad and I believe you have the same mentality that RM has about player's performances and bad forms; a bad form is not a reason to look for a replacement... and after what Hart has done for City it would be even more nonsense.
He has costed his team some goals (which keeper hasn't?), not precisely FAR too many games. And as I said before he has done amazing things for City and this goals/games are not entirely his responsibility.
A loan is not the answer either because a player that needs a loan is a player who doesn't have a place in the squad and that is usually young and in need of playing time to build experience for future competitive games when the team need him. Some rare cases have players been loaned because of a specific need of a team and a crowded position from another team. Hart IMO just needs to be confident, to get support from fans and teammates as well as the staff so he can get back on track to be that world class keeper we all know he can be.
And please don't get so defensive about your team because I didn't mean to offend or anything. It is just that everybody knows how Madrid tends a lot to buy players they don't really need in order to cover up for a player in bad form.
@Tuanis
If you really knew something about Madrid, you would understand that it is not in the manager's hands to sell or buy players, but rather the president's. I don't see how Mourinho or Ancelotti made buys "just" to cover up for bad form.
And why wouldn't I get offended? You just stated that you think you know about my mentality seemingly better than I do. I'd like to see how you fare if I said something critical about Manchester United.
And to back my theory, he has made 6 major defensive errors last season that led to goals being scored on him. Compare that to Petr Cech's 3 defensive errors, and Neuer, Buffon, and Casillas' 2 defensive errors, and you see what I'm trying to say. He needs to get his act together quick, because Man City are not lacking in funds to replace him with someone better.
PS. He could've and should've saved both Ribery and Robben's shots. Muller's chance could've been stopped too.
I never said who made the decisions about Madrid's buying and selling. But recently they bought Coentrao when there was Marcelo already, Modric when there was Ozil and Bale when there is Di Maria, not to mention Carvajal - Arbeloa (which is a little more justifiable). Those are just the completed transfers, there are other cases of intended ones that were intended to be done because of the same circumstances...
I also never said that I knew about your mentality more than you do, it is just that because of your opinion I could see that somehow you were thinking similar to how Madrid (whoever is responsible for their numerous player transfers) thinks. It seems to me you dont know how to face a comment which is not even critical, is just something everyone is aware of and that doesnt make RM a better or worse team.
I dont know were you got those stats but he still managed to have a good season. There are not many goalkeepers better than him that City could buy to replace a bad-form Hart. You are being a little rough with him, I remember when De gea was letting every shot get pass him but now he is on a good form and hasnt committed crucial mistakes in a while. And what about Valdes? He was performing a lot worst than Hart (and he was a lot older) but he wasn't sold, he is now back on his feet and is been playing very decently.
PS. I didnt want to get into an argument but I wasnt expecting that kind of reaction about what I said.
My conclusion about Hart is that he is a terrific goalkeeper in a bad form who needs a little more time and support to step it up and get back at his top-class keeping.
Coentrao was bought because we HAD no other LB besides Marcelo.
Carvajal was bought back because he was given out for experience in the first place. Arbeloa was the weak link in our formation, and is 30 years old.
Modric was bought not to replace Ozil, but to replace the aging Alonso.
And Bale was not even our buy, but Perez's stupid decision.
So no, you're not right about my team.
@Dynastian98 @Tuanis
hahahaha nanda :) And I still think Hart is great GK.
^
LOL
He is finally playing like and English goalkeeper xD
Look at Barcelona, we still have Valdes. Hart is having a bad run, as soon as he gains his confidence he will bounce back.
Obviously he shouldn't be sold, but if putting in Pantillimon for a few games makes Hart more motivated, then that could be done.
^yeah giving him competition wouldn't hurt
He is still the England national goalkeeper and does sometimes stunning saves, why should he be going? Where he should go? To Bayern or what?
Another costly mistake by him, he has to be dropped for 2-3 games, clearly an extended run isn't helping his confidence. A couple of weeks away from the spotlight won't hurt.
After watching the Bayern match, I'm fully convinced that Hart needs to go out. He's cost Man City FAR too many games in the last two years. He's not the world class keeper he used to be. Even Mancini's assistant at City stated that they had planned to buy Begovic to replace Hart, but got sacked before they could buy him.
What do you guys think? I think that Hart needs to be replaced by someone better at a club like City.
