he is the right man, simple as that. look at his EPL stats:
1) Moyes managed 424 appearances for Everton inaccessible to the 426, which he won 172 games and lost 129 and drawn 123 for, an winning percentage in games of 40%.
2) Everton under moyes Scored 562 goals against 497 goals in the Premier League during 12 seasons, and the scoring rate exceeded a goal and a half every game.
3) Everton won a total of 639 points and can be increased.
4) The best achievement for Everton with Moyes was finishing fourth in season 2004/2005, and 95 players played in his team in the Premier League.
cos he is great even with average team,knows EPL very good, 5 times beat Mancini 5 of 7 ;) I hope he will get some world class players,he can't win anything with this squad . Only SAF could do it.
Great manager. Good luck to him/
should have got klopp or mourinho :/
Cuz he doesn't come and change the team,he'lll do what Fergie did and raise potential young talents like he did at Eerton.
Getting Mourinho would of been a big mistake. United need a long term manager, which Mourinho isn't (has he even stayed at a team for 4 years?) he seems to have like a 3 year expiry date. Moyes is everything we need - has faith in the youth, doesn't spend spend friggin spend, has grit and determination, loyal to his team, and has the typical English style which is what United need. Not some guy with swagger and an ego which is bigger than his own head.
As sad as i am about Fergie retiring, in a weird way im looking forward for the arrival of Moyes, and im sure he will do well...
He was handpicked by Ferguson.
I'm guessing the Glazer's were looking for longevity, hope they got it right.
@Devilz
Well said! Someone like Mou is not fit to manage a team like United, where Ferguson's legacy of loyalty remains strong. He'd be better off at Chelsea, where he himself feels more comfortable as well.
Does anyone know?
