Who will win the EPL title this season and who will relegate?

Who will win the league this season and who will relegate…. a place for predictions and discussion.

Every club has played 21 matches and 17 matches left in the Premier League season with only 6 points between the 10th and 20th place. and as you can see the top 7 are very close to each others in terms of points.

Who got the advantage to win the title in your opinion and who will most likely relegate?

What is your match prediction for the (Top Remaining Matches)? (W/L/D)

Aight\'

Champions + CL Spots i think will be something like this: (Bias alert)

  1. Arsenal (If we continue grinding results that is)
  2. Manchester City (Lethal at home, inconsistent away)
  3. Chelsea (Lacks firepower and passion)
  4. Liverpool / Everton (I think this will be decided on the result of the Merseyside derby)

Europa League:

  1. Liverpool/Everton
  2. Manchester United
  3. Spurs/Newcastle

Relegation Places:

  1. West Bromwich Albion (Just cant see any of the other relegated, neither do i want them to)
  2. West Ham United
  3. Crystal Palace

Promoted from Championship:

  1. Leicester City
  2. Burnley
Play offs. Blackburn Rovers (unlikely but you never know)

Capital One Cup Winners: Sunderland

FA Cup winners: Arsenal vs Man City in the final, not sure about winners though.

  1. City
  2. Chelsea
  3. Arsenal

  4. Tottenham
  5. Liverpool
  6. United
  7. Everton

The 4-6 slots are interchangeable, really, in my eyes.

The reason I think City and Chelsea will overtake Arsenal is because of how much more settled the squads appear to be now. Arsenal built up a large lead in the beginning, because they were the team giving smaller teams a hiding, while City and Chelsea were dropping points in strange places. However, against City, United and Chelsea, Arsenal dropped vital points, and I think they will do so again in the return fixtures. By contrast, I think that the blue teams will both win more of those games they were botching early on, and creep past the Gunners as the season heads into the final mile.

Currently, there are 2 points separating the teams in 4-6. 2 points is nothing, and while Everton started well, I think that squad depth will prove an issue as the games heat up toward the end of the season. United will start to pull themselves together, I think, and go on a run which brings them back into contention, and Liverpool I think will start to face teams who line up behind the bus for 90 minutes, just like Spurs faced in the first half of the season. Spurs themselves I think may pull it out, because we have some real quality in our squad, and if they can be made to play as a unit (and if we could stop losing 1 or 2 of our first-teamers every effing week), we can turn this around. However, the fact that we still have a UEFA competition to try and pursue, while the two Merseyside clubs do not, will put a large strain on our squad, so, maybe it won't pan out after all.

Either way, I expect 1-3 to be very tight, separated by maybe 3 or 4 points at the most, then a gap of about 4 or 5 points, with the 4-7 spots separated by only about 3 or 4 points too.

^Exactly lodatz, the 2 loss against both Manchester teams will cost Arsenal the title.
My heart wants Gunners to win for many reasons : David against Goliath, to value Wengers work and his loyality, he could have gone to a richer team when they were short financially, for the french players, Ozil and Podolski very unlucky in their career.
But my reason says exactly what Lodatz explained clearly.

Manchester City have 5 tough away matches the same for Arsenal, while Chelsea have only 2. That is an advantage for Chelsea. We are about to sign Matic which means we will be much solid defensively and as a team. The only thing that we lack is a decent striker, but hopefully Torres will continue scoring every game since the beginning of 2014.

Spurs will get higher than the 8th place. Probably the 6th, as expected. Believe me or not...
