@JuanMata10
You might get a little pressured from wearing an iconic number that was worn by Ronaldo, Beckham, Cantona, Best etc...

^ 1. He agreed to have this number on his shirt, it's not like somebody urged him to do so

  1. If he cant handle pressure, he shouldnt have become a professional footballer..

Since the Manchester United #7 has been worn by some very, VERY special players in the history of United, it should be given to a man who is expected to live up to those expectations. Perhaps Zaha? He looks like he's going to be loyal and promising.

^Zaha seems like a good candidate for that.

I doubt Zaha will get it on his first season.

@Rama you have to prove yourself to wear that shirt.

I still think think Zaha is young and has a long way to go. A lot of promise though.

@UHB: Ronaldo didn't have to prove himself. He was given it as an untried 17-year old.

Y'know. Just like Zaha.

And I think Zaha will probably get the #7, to be honest.

@Lodatz United signed Ronaldo after an impressive performance, we played and lost to Sporting Lisbon.

Everyone knew he was world class and someday would become one of the best players in the world. Sir Alex even said so, Arsenal wanted to sign him as well. We knew what he would become, Zaha is no where near what Ronaldo could do at 17 sorry.

He won\'t get that jersey \"yet.\" United has tradition go on prove yourself if you want that no7.

that no7.

@UHB: I think the similarities between them are fairly striking; Zaha even ripped United apart when he played with Palace.

I guess we'll see, but I don't think it's out of the realm of possibility, or even credibility.

^Believe me I want him to become the best. ATM I think his skills are no where near CR7 and the way he strikes the ball is far off. I'm hoping he blossoms though. Good to a see a Spurs fan rooting for United player. This is why I have the utter most respect for Spurs fans and players and I hope Bale stays just to show football still has some loyalty :D.

Hm... I can only think of Kagawa so far unless Moyes make a 'Big Summer Signing'

It will probably become Kagawa, but I won't be surprised if no one wears it this season.

Kagawa. Right. He was offered the number 7 shirt at first but turned it down.
