1. Ray Hudson - Magisterial commentator if you know what I mean.
2. Ian Darke - Household name and a great personality. Fan favorite among football fans in the U.S.
3. Jon Champion (But only with Robson) - I say this because they were a killer duo at the 2014 World Cup. Brought the best in each other. Hope to see them for Euro 2016!
4. John Strong - Bit one note but has the potential to be the next voice of Soccer commentating here in America
5. Steve Macca - Just re watch Brazil vs Germany game with ESPN commentary. Simply brilliant on how he's baffled by that game.

If I had some least favorites. Martin Tyler because he's lost his mojo and is incredibly biased. And when Lalas is commentating it's worse than him in the punditry room.

I've wanted to kill Lalas more than once.

Not the Idiot that has a loud voice and is a commentator for Bein Sports. That guy says the most retarded stuff half of the time anyways, don't know why he hasn't been replaced yet.

I enjoy Arabic commentators more because Arabic is my first language. IMO, no one is better than these two:

1- Raouf Khalif - Tunisia

2- Isaam Chawali - Tunisia

I think Ray Hudson is the worst commentator I've ever heard to be honest. I legitimately mute any stream/highlight if he's commentating.

I really like martin Tyler as well but my favorite commentators are both local.

One if Fernando Palomo who is responsible for narrating the most important matches for ESPN Latin America.
The other one is even more local, as he is the one who narrates Costa Rican games. Both of them have the passion that many european and american commentators lack. His name is Kristian Mora.

You could look up for both of them on youtube commentating, there is plenty of material but Im going to give you a couple of goal narrations.

i hate ray hudson. he's absolutely garbage. he never clears his throat, i hate the gargling scream he has. Plus he sounds like he practices every night. Any hispanic commentator > anybody else

@madridista they aren't really good commentators they just try to shout what they can and make it exciting.

Hudson is pure cancer to my ears to be honest. There is a difference between passion and just shouting a beautiful word.

Personally I love commentaries like that, passionate and real. Not the average MAGESTERIAL NORMAL PASS BRILLIANT FANTASTIC BLA BLA.

This is why people hate Hudson. He treats Messi like he is a god. No joke.
