Who do you think will win the premier league this season?
spanish 9 years ago Edited
Real Madrid, Spain 14 343

The current champions Chelsea are struggling this season languishing at 15th spot. The only real challengers looks like city, Arsenal and man united. City and Arsenal look like the 2 most realistic with their convincing performances and form while United seem to be struggling to score goals which is holding them back. Some would say Rooney is the reason for this and martial should play up top. City and Arsenal are scoring goals for fun recently and haven't been leaking too many goals this season. Liverpool have got a quality manager but I reckon their squad isn't good enough this season especially when many of their attackers are injured. What's your thoughts guys?

No idea. City look the best, considering they can deliver even without Silva & Aguero. Man Utd are there, but Van Gaal's performances are far from convincing.

Would more than love to see Arsenal win it - but it'll be so hard. Need to be consistent the whole season, and we can't afford to lose Bellerin, Coquelin, Nacho, Alexis or Özil. Arsenal haven't got good enough backups for them. Wenger needs to add good enough squad players in January & Arsenal need to keep up with City & Man Utd until then - but I don't think Wenger will spend.
At our best we can beat anyone - beating Man Utd 3-0, Liverpool 5-1 (last season), City 0-2 (last season), Bayern 2-0 etc proves it.

City will win, Arsenal will challenge, United will be the retarded little kid in third, and fourth is anyone's guess. Liverpool maybe? Or someone new? A West Ham/Leicester City/Tottenham/Everton would be really good for the league imo. Who knows, maybe Chelsea can claw back into top four.

Looks like it's gonna be a race between Arsenal and Manchester City, but we all know that Arsenal are always better in first half of the season and in January they always start to slide down, so I'd say City will win the league.

I don't like van Gaal and his retarded tactics so I doubt United will be in the race.

Liverpool can finish in top 4.

Chelsea need to sack Mourinho if they want top 4 this season.

Manchester City will have a huge gap in spring . This won't be a close race imo . These guys are doing great without their key players wait till they are back and in form .

@marcus, you're talking about city having injury problems but discounting that Arsenal also have injury problems? Arsenal have Walcott, chamberlain, wilshrre, Welbeck, rosicky, ospina to come back from injury. Don't also forget that man city have already played the 3 promoted teams of last season therefore giving city an advantage currently whilst Arsenal have played many top teams and bogey teams like Man U at home, Chelsea away, Liverpool home, Everton at home, Swansea away, palace away whilst the only challenges city had was Chelsea at home despite being poor form, and United away yet to play Liverpool, Arsenal, Southampton, Swansea etc.

I've said City since the 3rd week, they dominate smaller teams, not that bad vs direct rivals. The most consistent team of the PL atm. Arsenal looks stronger when in form, but their form tend to change a lot. United and Liverpool to complete big 4.

Should i also give you wild guess who will go back to injury list after those guys you listed are back ?

It is one or the other . Arsenal either performs well in beginning then drops completely in winter and beginning of Spring and makes final push towards the end of the season . Or they have terrible start , drop out of the race in winter and make push for top 4 in spring .

You can bet on this and win money all year long .

Exactly as @Marcus said, and it's same in the game, we either perform brilliant first half and then screws up second. Or fails miserably in first then tries to get back in second half.

@marcus, Arsenal are known for having a good end to the season. Last season Arsenal had a poor first half of the season and in the second half of the season Arsenal went on a 8 game winning run which I think was the longest last season. Even in 12/13 season Arsenal had a great second half of the season. Maybe in 13/14 you can have a case for Arsenal flopping after January mainly because Walcott and Ramsey got injured their main players and they had a dodgy goalkeeper and full backs back then. Now Arsenal have a made a great start and have a world class goalkeeper and defence which makes a massive difference to previous seasons. Not forgetting Ozil, giroud, Cazorla are in the form of their lives.

I would rather see London club win EPL than any northern club , but it is difficult to see it with consistent long injury list and still not having a proper back up and partner for Conqelin .

Cazorla and Conquelin are not the combination that will bring EPL title . I know Arsenal fans disagree , but If there were odds to bet right now , I would bet that these two are the defensive partnership mid that Arsenal should be happy about . It is good but not good enough to win EPL .

Wilshere comes and goes before he picks up his form and seems like he lost it , so throw that out the window ... Shame , i thought he would be one of the best CMs right now . Ramsey has become inconsistent .

Ozil seems to magically disappear in big games and reaper in other big games .

And the main reason I think arsenal won't win is Oliver The Giant Playboy .
Because if that is his form of his life then now i understand what Arsenal fans feel when he is off form . I just don't see Arsenal winning EPL title with Giroud as main striker .
