Is a game like this fun to watch even though it's pretty much one-sided? Does the excellence of Barca weigh up for the fact that the other team is totally chance-less? Is there any excitement involved at all?

First of all my little friend. Quality? Have I even remotely mentioned quality? Have I even remotely stated that a championship game would have better quality than la game in la liga? No.

But would it be more exciting than a 1.05 odds game? Yes. Definitively. Of course? A game where the outcome is uncertain must be more exciting than a game with a certain outcome? I mean what's more exciting in general? a 3-3 game with 15 minutes left or a 0-5 game with 15 minutes left??

English teams struggle in Europe too. City, who are apparently such a good team, failed to beat Roma in Manchester. Liverpool lost to Basel and drew against Ludogorets (for Christ's sake, I hadn't even heard of Ludogorets until this season). Tottenham got knocked out by a 5th place Serie A team. United are currently enjoying a better season domestically thanks to the fact that they failed to qualify for Europe at all. Chelsea are the only English club performing relatively well in Europe.

In comparison, the three Spanish giants are comfortably in the Ro16 of the Champions League, and Villareal and Sevilla will face each other in the Europa League. Everton and Chelsea are the only likely English teams to progress to the next round (with City facing elimination at the hands of Barca).

And don't even get me started on Arsenal...

We all know Englands fixture schedule is part to blame.. I mean resting Harry Kane, Kyle Walker, Danny Rose and Ryan Mason against Fiorentina..And Soldado played like crap.. Fiorentina did beat Spurs..But they are also great at the moment.. like 1 loss in 15 games and just beat Juventus away..

Same thing with Liverpool against Basel.. and the red card didn't help there..

City failed to beat Roma at home but won easily away the next game.. and then got to meat barca without yaya toure..

And Athletico aren't that comfortable are they? After loosing the first game without scoring?

And to Arsenal..well, I've got nothing to blame it on.. Highly surprising.. Just seemed as Monaco netted everything..

All I'm saying is that 1.05 odd games aren't that fun to watch as it takes out the competitiveness of the game..
