It isn't the same here; diving in the NBA is really looked at as dirty, even though it's becoming more common since intro of foreign players. It is more about your reputation than the fine. Go Stern, fine the hell out of The Chosen 1.

@manchesterutI, 5k is still a punishment that would seriously stop a lot of divers. As all punishments, they get worse each time you do it. So 5k the first dive can turn to 15k the second, and so on.
