@Ihaveabbc, Sagna fouled Altidore. The ref blew the whistle, which automatically calls for a cease of play. All of Sunderland was left deservedly fuming at the ref. He booked Sagna, and saved Arsenal from a definitely goal.
No offense taken either. I'd be royally pissed as well.
it was already given as a foul
maybe for this purpose
guys the technology is working fine, it's just that the ref blew his whistle so the game has to sto that's how it works. It was a bad call for sure by the ref. BUT no one talked about the adam johnson dive that gave sunderland the penalty at the start of the first half.

Can't insert a dailymotion video sorry. But if you look at that video at 6:30, you can see the action, and on the second angle of the replay it's a clear dive.
If there had not been a penalty, the game would have been different. But the better team still won so all is well.
Okay thank you for the answers. I didn't even notice that Sagna made a foul.
Haha Mourinho's reaction xD What a guy
"and on the second angle of the replay it's a clear dive."
Er, OR, Kos managed to take out the guy's leg with his trailing ankle, just like he did in the game against Villa.
Seriously, he needs to learn how to tackle.
So, this season the FA (finally) introduced goal-line technology for all BPL matches.
But I was wondering what the usage of this technology was if a goal like Sunderland's second against Arsenal didn't even count as a goal. I didn't see the match, just the highlights and I was quite thoughtul after that incidence.
Can anyone clear me up about this please?
PS: Dear Arsenal fans, I am not trying to be offensive.
