Ok, so the player i have chosen to value today is Joe Hart... If you don't know already what to do, then basically do what the title says :) put a transfer price on the player i have given you (obviously your opinion) and then explain why you have chosen that price, simples. I was originally going to do a different player, but given the form recently of J. Hart, I thought it would be interesting to see what other people rate him at. I think (currently) he is the best keeper in the world, so I would rate him at £35 million. Some of you may think that's overpriced, but just look at the game he played against B. Dortmund...If it wasn't for Hart, Dortmund may of won by 3 or more goals. Anyway, what do you lot think? :)

23-25 million. generally defenders and GK are priced lower than attackers and mids.

£35 mil, excellent, young keepers are extremely rare.

Its true that his normal value would be 30-35 Mil Euros, but as naman93 said, Goalkeepers are always less priced than outfield players. I would say 25 Mil Euros.

I'm staying out of this one, But terrific player and he won't be cheap! 

@dynastian: i don't quite agree in there. you can apply that rule on defenders,because 1 defender alone won't make a difference in the whole defence. but a really world class goalie (those we can find every 10 years) can save you a match,like a world class striker alone can make you win one. Buffon was sold to Juventus for 32mil.

Yeah, but Buffon was young and was the subject of a bet that Juventus won by a mile. He became a HUGE success for Juve. And btw, Buffon was MUCH better before getting sold to Juve than Hart is now. There is a HUGE difference between the two. Right now I would say that Hart is better, but that's because Buffon is aging.
