(TO ARSENAL FANS) How long will you give Arsenal to be convinced the resurgence is real?

In my honest opinion.. if Arsenal plays like this until the Christmas break.. i will really believe in there return.. and as a genuine admirer of Arsenal i would love to have the strong Henry era Arsenal back so we can have a match and really watch a phenomenal game like the 2006 UCL final.

i mean we did have matches in 2010 and 2011 but im gonna be honest, you guys were crippled in the 2010 second leg and received a red in the 2011 second leg.. i dont want to get into too much detail about my full opinion on the 2011 second leg so lets stick to the subject of Arsenals resurgence. guys?

It's just start of the season, we all know that it's still long way to go, but so far i'm surprised with how we're playing. There's still need to improve, specially in defense when we're under pressure. Can't wait to see playing Ozil and Cazorla together, hope we can be without any serious injuries this year, and finally lift the trophy by playing beautiful football. We got hard matches specially in november/december when we got Liverpool, Dortmund, United, Everton, Napoli, City, Chelsea

^^^ Can't wait for the Dortmund match.

Honestly I can't be sure, I'm just taking it match by match. Giroud isn't very convincing up front. If I'm not mistaken, I think Wenger was using him as a false 9 vs. Swansea. So far it has panned out well for the team and he has actually knocked in some goals. I just want to see him grow. All in all I have high hopes for this season. By the next transfer window we must stay near the top.

every time i see one of ours go to the ground, i'm just horrified. without more spending in january, we're not going to be able to maintain this. but everyone (other than rosicky, but that might've just been because he's been out) is doing great. can't wait for santi and walcott to come back. GO ARSENAL

guys, let's be honest, yesterday's first half was the best I've ever seen Arsenal play (I started really watching arsenal around 2009). These first 20 minutes or so we were just ruthless. I'll say it, if we play like this against dortmund, there is no way we don't top the group of death (group of too easy for AFC). Giroud was fenomenal last night, and he is doing amazing in the league as well. I can't see too many strikers who we could bring and would start over him.

After yesterday's game, I'm positive we are league title and CL contenders.

And people on footyroom were saying we would finish 5th this season.

@KingHenry with all respect don't forget it's just start of the season, I don't think we're CL after few won matches, Arsenal first need to recovery all injured players. As far as we're winning and everything is okay, but don't forget that football got a lot of up and downs, and u never know with arsenal what will happen :)

With 32 games left to play or 96 points, there is a long long road ahead. If they maintain good form, especially Ramsey and Ozil, they could very well end top 2. It will also depend on their results against Liverpool, Chelsea, ManU, ManC and Spurs.

please note that i said contenders. Never said we were winning the league and the CL. Just saying that with the kind of football we played last night, we can beat any team in europe.

If Arsenal make 2-3 good signings in January and keep up their good results, they're serious title contenders imo

SERIOUSLY GUYS, don't do this to yourselves. Enjoy the good times but don;t overstep our bounds. IMO, we are NOT title contenders for the simple fact that we do not have the squad to maintain such a challenge. I am glad we are doing well and the very best I think we could hope for this season is 2nd. If we got 2nd I'd be very content. If we run the top teams close until the end of the season, it'll have been a succesful campaign for me. Roma wasn't built overnight and you don't go from scraping 4th to the Champs with 1 signing, especially as everyone (baring United) has strengthened much more heavily.

I think @raimondo's response was the wisest.

^^ This.

If Arsenal come through October and November, after facing this run of games:

Dortmund (H) (22nd Oct)
Crystal Palace (A) (26th Oct)
Chelsea (H) (29th Oct)
Liverpool (H) (2nd Nov)
Dortmund (A) (6th Nov)
Man United (A) (10th Nov)

And are still in the Top 3, and still in the Capital One Cup, then I'll go back to that Ozil thread, hold my hand up and say I was wrong.

I don't think I'm going to have to, though. >.<

I love our midfield... Teams that play against us will most likely try to double up on Ozil and negate his threat, allot a man marker to track Ramsey and his runs into the box, but then we have got Wilshere and Cazorla free to dismantle sides apart as well. Insane. Out of nowhere we have got one of the strongest midfields in Europe. Definitely top 5.

Anyway... Top Three finish and the FA Cup and I will be happy.

@Foota, if we can hope for 2nd then why not just hope for 1st? There's obviously NO WAY to tell if any resurgence is among us but it's a definitely possibility. I think it's just as silly to say that we AREN'T title contenders this early on, considering our form at the moment.

Wenger has done the smartest signing of the year for Ozil. Now if the form goes on, and if the injuries are minimised, Arsenal can win EPL in my opinion.
