THIS is why people hate Stoke City

Disgraceful from Charlie Adam.

He knew exactly what he was doing. Could've broken his leg.

I hope the guy has 3 games ban. There should be a rule for post match review and brutal/coward fouls

To be honest, I have never liked Stoke City. The EPL would do just fine without them.. They don't understand the difference between Rugby and Football.

And the FA still won't fine him, now will they? Racist f**ks. Puts bans on all the non-English and non-white player offences, but doesn't move an inch on white British players.

Stoke city is one of those EPL clubs that I want them to be relegated.... They offer nothing in football....

Wow something we can all agree on! Hopefully they take action on him just like they did on Craig Bellamy for punching de Guzman.

What does this have to do with Stoke? Did every single Stoke player do something horrible to warrant hate towards the entire club?

I've seen this happen in a lot of games with a lot of different teams. In this particular case it looks bad, but sometimes you can be sure of intent and sometimes you can't and I think this is one of those times when you can't be 100% sure.

Stoke play a physical game but it's usually clean, so I don't know why the all the hate towards the club. Maybe it's because you just lost to them. And frankly, starting a reactionary thread like this is really unnecessary, imo.

@Gustavo
and this was blown as a foul against Arsenal

@Gustavo: that's just it. this isn't a reactionary thread. I didn't post this "just because we lost to them". In fact, I would've highlighted this disgraceful action if we beat them 0-10.

Anyone who's been watching them for long enough know that this is no one-off incident. They have previous for this.

"Stoke play a physical game but it's usually clean" - well it depends how you define "usually". If by every other match, then that's really not saying much, is it?

Point is, they are one of the only, if not the only, team whose players routinely go out and purposely try to injure opponent players. That is unacceptable and I would hope that all fans would agree that this kind of sh*t has no place in football.

Just want to say one thing more, every time we play against them I pray that no one gets injured regardless of the match result whether it's a loss or win I don't care as long as they just don't injure anyone. Stepping on someone's foot and pushing, pulling and bullying players in the game is their style. They even pick their players to fit a rugby match.

@AlexBatak You know, The EPL would also do fine without clubs like Chelsea with gloryhunter support and a stadium with zero atmosphere. Stoke City brings one of the best atmospheres in England and a rough, manly and passionate way of playing aswell. So if we are gonna talk about teams which the league would do good without its Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United.

Not only they play dirty, but they are winning at home and therefore stay the in the league! Shame on them.

@Dephased I think everybody here knows how you see "Football" and how irrelevant it is and you have zero knowledge whatsoever.

I will do you a favor just because I think you need it "http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Football" read this when you are free and know the difference between Football and Rugby.

"Zero atmosphere" ha ha.

I doubt if this @Dephased guy is a real Arsenal's fan... As for Stoke, I have always said this team plays one of the ugliest football in EPL and I always feel downgraded to them when MU plays horribly this season

It stinks that Charlie Adam had to contribute to this image of Stoke.

@Dephased, I'm sure Giroud felt the passion running down his leg there.

Does anyone else here notice that the majority of the comments from @Depahsed are either nonsensical, insensitive, or just play inappropriate?

@fabryi That looks worse than Charlie Adam's.

@Footaholic I see your point. Wasn't it Shawcross who broke Ramsey's leg? The thing is, is that there seems to be a lot of pride in the physical aspect of English football. I mean, the players played rough and got the win, so I'm sure they think they won because they were strong and people in the country seem to applaud more than they criticize them because of it.

I called this a reactionary thread because in the OP gif it didn't seem like there was anyway to say that that wasn't an accident. I still think the focus should be on specific players and not the entire club.
