Yes @AlexBatak ive been at stamford bridge myself and its a library. @tuan If you doubt that i am a "true" arsenal fan. I was raised in North London and have gone to Arsenal for most of my life until i moved abroad, i doubt you will find anyone on this forum who is more of a Arsenal fan than i am. And btw you support Manchester United and is from the Netherlands support your local team then you can call yourself a "real fan". Back to the subject of Stoke, how you play football is absolutely irrelevant, its not about playing "nice football". Its about giving it a real go for 90 mins thats all.
"support your local team then you can call yourself a "real fan"." WTF
@Dephased "ive been at stamford bridge myself and its a library." Mate, please. don't. stop. whatever you are doing I find you hilarious. I literally laughed. Thank you and yes I totally believe you went to Stamford Bridge hahaha. Just if you were from London though, being raised in North London is not the same and with your logic, you are not allowed to support Arsenal or any EPL club. You told me you are from Albania so please do the EPL clubs a favor and follow your logic and support the Albanian League.
Calm down. The FA takes a few days to charge a certain player. Racist? Really...

@Dephased FYI sometimes I find foreign fans are more passionate than the local ones with much more knowledge about football and love to football. Your logic is just out of this world. This is football anyone can support whoever he/she wants. It's a sport that brings the world together and It's a religion to many and it has no borders.
@Alex Yes im of Albanian heritage, but was born and raised in north london. Im not saying foreign fans arent passionate, but that should be for their local team not some team they support just for footballing reasons.
You lauged at me saying Stamford bridge is a library? Oh so please explain the piss poor atmosphere there and we can talk. I cant deny that Arsenal has the same problem though along with all the top clubs. Yeah of course you can support whoever you want, but youre no genuine fan if its neither your local teams or you have some special reason to support team. The thing is Alex, if you support a team just because you like their football, youre not a genuine fan of that club, sure you can call yourself one but you never will be.
Stoke is not same as last year. They r playing some good football this season .
@Dephased, I support Arsenal, and I'm not from London nor am I of English descent. I'm a genuine Arsenal supporter because I bleed a little when they lose and take all the banter about their last 8 years without a piece of silverware. I'm a genuine gunner because I stick with my man even when they're playing poorly, and that's what a GENUINE football fan does. It's very hypocritical of you to even mention these things because for one, you're of Albanian heritage, two, you don't actually live in North London anymore, and three, you don't even dominate the language of the country it is you say you hail from, not to mention your views on football are very immature and reflect those of hooliganism. Don't tread on me for supporting a club I think is magnificent just because I can't call London my home town. Regardless, I will ALWAYS be welcomed at the Emirates. Tell the Arsenal supporters in Africa or Asia that they aren't genuine and you'll be lucky to keep your head.
@Dephased. No doubt after reading a lot of your comments recently, that you are more writing about fighting spirit, and why football should be a war, than writing about real football...
@Dephased so now when you do not live in London, you can't call yourself genuine Arsenal fan anymore.
(by your logic)
@mladen yes they improved a bit, but they still have a lot of dirty plays
Corinthians Chapter 14; Verses 11:4
"And lo and behold I saw the sign God had promised us: you are now leaving Stoke"
Hey they get results and it all that matters for the club . If referees turning the blind eye on their rough football then I don't see why we should blast on Stoke players but not on referees .
Just like @mladen said this season they have been trying hard to change their style , but it is hard to change the style and philosophy of your football club and still be competitive mid table club in EPL . They did start season with some attracting football , but later had to go back a little to familiar "rugby" style to save club from relegation . Back bone of the club are still the same players and until they leave , transformation will be very slow process for Stoke .
@dephased
Library atmosphere is a problem among all the top clubs in EPL . I enjoy atmosphere that german fans create or better yet Turkish fans , also Italian fans and I can include French . I think it is because god damn tickets are so expensive that football "goons" or you want to call them die hard fans who chant through out the matches , can't afford to go to match and stadium is filled with businessman, local celebs , family and etc who genuinely came to watch some football not having in mind to scream their lunges out . Maybe clap and make few noises here and there . Also , it has to do with a culture of watching football here that has changed since new regulations and rules were imposed after stadium tragedies like Hillsborough disaster and etc incidents with football fans .
I do not know how to explain the difference so I post few videos here in which I really love the atmosphere .
Germans are very similar to Turkish . Maybe they influence each other .
Turkish fans are just over the top a bit IMO.
The reason for the Library atmosphere as Marcus said is mainly because the hardcore fans (the ones who chant all game long and are die hard football fans) are not allowed into the stadiums all around England, the Hooligans if I may call them that. I know they were banned for life because of the chaos they created and not all the fans are or should be like that but it is because of them that security in the EPL is a little over-protective. Some stadiums wont even allow you to stand up repeatedly in the game. You see Turkish fans chanting with their heart jumping all around and lighting flares to create atmosphere but doing that on a British stadium would get you banned. You cant even bring flags bigger than 3x6 feet or something like that. Those amazing mosaics you often see in European matches are hardly ever organised by the team or supporters.
I know a little about this because I did a research some time ago about Football Atmosphere in different places of Europe.
Also what Marcus said is very true, the pricing of the tickets prevents lower class fans to attend to the stadium, and the lower class is the one who cheers the most at football matches. The thing is compared to Italy were ticket prices are ridiculously high as well, the Clubs finance their respective Ultras providing them with lower ticket prices, transport and a designated section of the stadium.
This is a topic that concerns me a lot because recent incidents with ultras in my country have produced the national clubs federation to start a campaign which many teams already adopted of not allowing ultras into stadiums and not financing them in any way. Just a week after that our equivalent to "El Classico" came up, I went to the stadium and It was probably the worst atmosphere at a Stadium that Ive ever been to, a funeral had better atmosphere than that, and to top it all the game ended in a ridiculously boring 0-0.
In conclusion, EPL atmosphere in general sucks but that doesn't mean that there are no hardcore fans in England.
That Gonzalo Higuaín video is just awesome. That Borussia Dortmund one too.
That Gonzalo Higuaín video is just awesome
Reason why Arsenal fans hate Stoke.
Never knew Arsenal had such a simple minded fan. This is definitely a first in FR.
Disgraceful from Charlie Adam.
He knew exactly what he was doing. Could've broken his leg.
