Here is a fun thread I stole from /r/soccer! Ever had an unpopular opinion that you've been dying to share but don't want to get hammered with replies and hate? Here is your chance to post it and see how many people agree with you!

2. You are NOT allowed to reply to an opinion. You don't like it? Ignore it. I know how FR is by now and I certainly know how one opinion can turn into a fight. DON'T REPLY.

3. You like an unpopular opinion?! Awesome! Show that by giving it a +1! By giving +1s to an unpopular opinion you can see which opinion is liked thise most. And you remain anonymous (unless you write "I agree with _\. +1")

step 1: look which team has the most members that support that team (presumably Arsenal or Man U)

step 2: Post something positive about that team.. wins the highest number of thumbs up

David Moyes will not succeed at Manchester United this season. Manchester United fans should know that it's kinda impossible for him to do what Sir. Alex did, Not to mention that many key players has retired or released after Sir. Alex. It's going to be a tough season for Moyes and for Manchester United fans. I have a deep respect for Manchester United. If the board won't be patient with Moyes I can see him getting sacked before the end of the season. I know it's too early to say that but this is how I feel about it.

(I love this thread but it's a risky one. I will change the "DO NOT REPLY" to bold just so everyone knows that the reply will be removed no matter what, just to avoid any hate fights. Share your opinion without insulting anyone.)

How good at team is cant be decided on the transfermarket and in market value alone, its more down to the teams structure, gameplan, coach and how well the players work together

The problem with this thread is that it's hard to gauge 'unpopular'. I mean, someone could say something like: "football should be about teamwork and sportsmanship", and then everyone will thumbs it up, even though it's not actually an unpopular opinion at all.

Red Card for dives that would have resulted in a red card for the player committing the "foul"

Yellow for a midfielder that dived somewhere in the center on the field where the ref would have given the "offender" a yellow if he hadn't spotted the dive

Red for a striker that dived in a clear cut chance to make the defender get a red

'There are many very good teams behind Barca and Madrid that people doesnt notice because Barca and Madrid...

Contrary to popular belief, the technical standard of the PL is higher than in La Liga, across the whole league. People just don't notice because they they think that Barcelona and Madrid are indicative of the entire Spanish league.

Arsenal don't really need any top signings as long as they don't sell anymore players, they only need small signings to strengthen depth.

@Lodatz: I don't think it will be too much of a problem. It should be easy to spot an unpopular opinion compared to a popular one.
