I have faith in our current keepers. Especially Fabianski who is actually very good.

We definitely need to strengthen our defense though. More CB's needed.

So Higuain is 40 million and Suarez is 30!!! AND Suarez is worth the same money as Illarramendi to Real!!!

A very good answer indeed. ;)

@GunnerAFC

Seeing as to how Zouma plays in Ligue 1, I'm surprised Wenger hasn't made a bid for him yet. :/
But then again, Arsenal's biggest problem last season was being unable to finish all the chances they created, so maybe he's trying out a striker first.

If Man U do bid £60m for bale, why wouldn't they accept it? With the money they get, they could sign 3 players valued at £20m each.

Interesting what Napoli are up to. That would be a very bold move.

No idea why no one is trying to get Julio Cesar. He was fantastic in the Confed.

Also, why did Monaco pay that much for Hulk? He's absolutely useless. I wouldn't even pay 20 mil for him. Maybe 15.. Crazy..

I think not just Spurs, But Arsenal and Manchester United are missing out on signing any of those players and won't realize till it's too late. although, Spurs did one pretty good signing. I like what Wenger said..:

“The competition in Europe is very hard at the moment,” Wenger told reporters.

“There’s a lot of money and not many players. We work hard but we are not close to signing anybody.”

Hulk signed for Zenit less than a year ago, he cost 60M Euro. It would be an extremely bad investment if Zenit sells a player they payed 60 million for a year earlier

^They already did. For 52 million.

Booo, Benteke. Boooooooooooo.

Nah, not really. I guess Villa made it worth his while, and if it wasn't Spurs losing out, I'd be happy to see a player stick to his club. Gutted we won't be bidding for him, though. :(

I'm interested to see how well Villa do next season. It looks like they'll manage to keep their best players, they made some very astute signings, and all the youngins will have more experience now. I'd be interested to see if the could give other clubs like Swansea a run for their money. They were playing good football last season... just absolutely non-existent/suicidal defending.
