We're too stingy, you know that! Never shell out for Rooney. Wenger's just saying that he respects him and would love to have him if he can.

@quickzyyy and onenil

Rooney would never play for Arsenal simply because they can't pay his wage or transfer fee. But what is better option than Rooney is Michu! #14

that's true, Arsenal for next years will never pay his week wages. Michu got one great season, but I don't know if he will continue with his "form". There are players which i would like to see more in Arsenal jersey than him..

No Michu. No Benteke.

I want proper agile ball players who can dribble and move swiftly about.

Perez is a damned retard for not renewing Ronaldo's contract yet. Just give Kaka out on loan to free up wages, and get the dude a new contract already! No matter who you get, no player in this world right now can compare to what Ronaldo means to us! He's just as important to RM as Messi is to Barcelona! If Perez doesn't make sure Ronaldo retires at Madrid, I'm shooting that bastard in the [censored].

@GunnerAFC If i were an Arsenal fan knowing everything about Arsenal I would be more than happy to sign Michu or Benteke less wage and price besides they are amazing. I would have those players who shines at clubs like Swansea or Aston Villa. Imagine them playing for Arsenal or Chelsea etc.

@Dynastian98 I feel you mate I have no idea why they are delaying it. is it a sign that they might sell him during the summer transfer window? No ones know. But he's been hinted a move to PSG for a lot of money they might replace him with Suarez and Bale.

update for Alex

Asked directly if the club could afford Rooney, Gazidis added: "I don't know what his fee would be.

"I'm talking about an extra £70m of additional, high-margin revenue - so of course we could do that."

I think the top 7 clubs in the EPL have a big amount of money to spend this summer starts from 50 millions to 150 millions.
