Hazard has more goals than all our strikers...
Torres is good, but not constant, Ba is good, but not constant, Eto'o is good, but not constant.

@messi6511: Ba and Eto'o are leaving next season, leaving us with only Torres. If you really still think Torres is world class then you need to get some glasses. The man doesn't deserve to be our "star" striker considering the wages he gets and the performances he gives in return. The same goes for Ba, he never lived up to his expectations and that's why he sits on the bench. Sure we love him today, but we also never hated him or cursed him. We stuck behind him despite some horrible performances from him in his Chelsea career (same goes for Torres). We also never bashed Schurrle and have always stuck behind him, even when he was average. The fans you see insulting players are not actual fans or they're letting their emotions do the talking. Don't judge the 200+ million Chelsea fans based on 10 or so fans' opinions.

I honestly can't believe you think our strikeforce is world class. The only decently consistent one is Eto'o and it took him until January to finally hit his stride. Have you checked who our top scorer is? It's Hazard, a midfielder, and right behind him is Oscar, another midfielder.

You need to understand the striker situation at Chelsea better before you speak up.

@tiki: Dude, if your going to mock Chelsea fans then at least get our current manager right. And the same might go for Barcelona in the trophy category this season mon ami ;)

Don't mock us about how many trophies we've won if you could be same as us this season. Didn't you already learn your lesson about talking before the actual result?

If you wanted to prove the doubters wrong, you should've made a thread titled "For the Chelsea doubters". Don't directly attack or mock others. Even if they say something to you or mock you, keep it classy and just move on. You're better than this.

^Well yeah, I was expecting those kind of responses but I couldn't care less. What goes around comes around, and @tiki_taka is getting just what he deserves from us Chelsea fans(I also noticed people here are criticizing Chelsea fans more than they criticized @tiki_taka when he did the same last week). Its not a matter of should you give torres more time. His time is long up. He consistently puts up bad perfomances, besides the rare occasion when he scores. Selling him for even alow price will make you money before he gets devalued even more. Additionally his wage is part of his cost. In no way does he help out Chelsea commerically. How many Chelsea fans do you see wearing Torres shirts? Exactly. As for Ba, he had 19 shots in the epl this season. 3 of them wear goals. Surely you can't judge him based on 19 shots? Its like Chicharito, you never know his full power unless you let him play. AS for Schurrle, just read some of the comments, under the PSG game. I rest my case.

@Chelsea fans. You have FOUR strikers. Ba, Schurrle, Torres, Eto'o. None of them is Ibra, or Falcao, or Suarez. But you have four strikers, and behind them, you have Willian and Hazard. The thing is, every journalist would drink Mourinho's piss if they could. So when Mourinho says Chelsea have no strikers, through the media, it becomes the common consensus that Chelsea have no strikers, are sh*t, and are massive underdogs when they play Sunderland.

Open your eyes. City has 3 strikers, and Aguero is the only one significantly better than yours, and he's been injured half the season. Suarez is the best striker in the league but other than these two guys and maybe Sturridge (WOUPS !), who would you rather have ? Lukaku ? Too bad Mourinho had planned tons of mind games with Everton.

Before I start replying again I should point this out: Schurrle IS NOT a striker. Did you guys just assume he is because he played once or twice upfront this season or was it because he can play striker on FIFA?

Well I said he was a striker so for the sake of the discussion he is now a striker. He started last week ahead of ba and torres too.

actually I don't really care about schurrle being a striker or not. The only thing I care about right now is getting people to realize that Chelsea have a striker problem as much as Mourinho has a small ego.

End off discussion. Any team in a similar situation would react the same way. For Example if Fellaini
scores the winner against Bayern tomorrow, Manu fans will react with excitement the same way. I think you are overanalyzing. Just my two cents.

I'm not really going to get into details and point out statistics because it takes too long, but Torres does make us some profit despite how bad he is when playing. Especially in Asia; Torres is really popular in Asia.

We let Ba play a lot last season and Mourinho has seen what he can do in training. You haven't though. He can't do much to benefit our team and he's one of the clumsiest players to ever wear our blue kit. The same goes for Chicharito. Sure he has a knack for goals but that isn't enough to be a striker for ManUtd (well the one Ferguson at least). That sort of ManUtd needed a striker who can lead, pass, run across the field, assist, dribble, and be skilled. That's why they have Rooney and RVP starting.

@Vendetta, maybe we define striker differently. What reasoning makes you believe that Schurrle is not a stiker? Because he played winger a few games? Schurrle has played much of his career in various positions, including Attacking Mid, winger, and striker. You can't say that Schurrle is not a striker, when he has put up his best perfomances this season playing in the striker position this season.

@KingHenry: Well, considering we're second place and don't have strikers as good as Aguero or Suarez, I'd say we have done a fantastic job this season. I don't know who our strikers will be next season but I know two are leaving: Eto'o and Ba.

@messi6511: Listen, if we're really going to debate then we need to level with each other. What makes me believe Schurrle is not a striker? Oh I don't know, maybe because 95% of his games were played on the wing and that he doesn't have the mindset of a striker? Just because he's banged in a few (as a winger to boot) doesn't mean he can be a striker. If that were the case then that would mean Hazard could be our Messi. You could talk about what position he played with other teams but we aren't those teams. We are Chelsea and Schurrle plays winger (and he does a damn good job at it too). He also plays winger with Germany.

I am not bitter. I'm just annoyed that people actually think Chelsea don't have strikers. Look at us, WE have a striker problem. A big one and its name is f*cking Giroud.
