I remember him at Celtic, too. Top quality manager. Feel bad for him. :/

Fru_Toot: That is quite a loaded question to answer on a football forum. In the simplest meaning, it is a system of government. You should read up on it as it is a very important historical/social issue. I highly suggest you educate yourself about it (you can start with Wikipedia as I'm sure that's where most people learn these day :/ ) as you will come across it often in the future.

@ Footaholic yeh i know wikipedia will tell but it has too much writing and nonsense information i don't need, i need a simple sentence just so i can quickly find out the meaning.

sigh... I don't know what to say that.

Can you explain to me what James Joyce's Ulysses means in a sentence?

I fear for the future.

Fascism is a totalitarian system of government, where the corporate sector is merged with the state to created a state-run capitalism. It is founded in the principles that individual autonomy is damaging to society, as is the idea of collective responsibility. As a result, it despises both capitalism and socialism together, and seeks a 'third way', in which conquest is praiseworthy, and the powerful rule as a natural, just consequence of their power.

Historically, in Italy, it arose as a rejection of capitalism, and had racist overtones; seeking to purge society of that which was weak, or detrimental, in their eyes. In Germany this was taken even further, and used as a message to unite all the 'true' Germans, etc, and attempted eradication of another, 'lesser' race.

In effect, the country runs like a corporation who has decided that a certain 'type of worker' (read: person) is just not 'good enough', and should be purged.

And yes, Di Canio is a self-avowed fascist. He's proud of it.

pdc would see the end of freedom for all and opression and hatred in its place. its no coincidence that the city he holds closest to his heart was the capital of the roman empire
