Spurs CL Nostalgia

Obviously most of us recall best the 3-1 victory and 4-3 comeback against Inter, and the 1-0 victory over AC Milan in the San Siro, but... I had forgotten how well we played against Real, too, that year.

Yes, we lost, but you can hardly say that the better team won this game:

Thanks Gomes. ;)

(and yes, I know we lost 4-0 at the Bernabeu, but I also know that we had our only fit striker sent off in the 15th minute, and had two of our main defenders our injured!)

Still proud of the lads for this performance, and to think -- that was when we had to rely upon Huddlestone and Jenas in our midfield...

I totally forgot about Spurs beating AC Milan. That was a very good win for them.

Jermaine Jenas was one of the most overrated English footballers ever -_- He was up there with Kieran Dyer back in the day, haha.
