Since I didn't see a Tevez page....

I haven't seen a post on Tevez's recent move to juve. So i decided to make one. If there was a post tell me.

Anyway, myself, I'm really excited about this transfer. I believe Tevez has the potential of being a key player for Juve. Manchester City will be paid and additional 6 million Euros if Juve wins the league and reaches the semis in the UCL. I'm really excited to see such a lethal striker perform with the mastery of Pirlo and other juve legends. Speaking of pirlo, will he ever retire?

I think it's a big mistake by Manchester City to lose him. As much as he makes me nervous every time we play against Manchester City as much I'm happy that he left them :) Tevez is a great player and so underrated.

He is a great striker. Sad to see him go from City, Manu, and the EPL. He was probably a problem in the locker room. Drunk driving and poor decisions off the pitch cost his team.

Anyone know why he doesn't play for Argentina?

@AlexBatak, Underrated enough for Man City to pay 30-40 million pounds for him with around 200k weekly? What planet are you on? Rule of thumb: Strikers are very rarely underrated. And the low fee Juve paid for Tevez is completely justified given the uncertainty and instability he might bring to the club.

@tdot - Would you start him over Higuain, Aguero, Messi, Lavezzi?

I think Tevez is just as good, if not better than Higuain, Lavezzi, or DiMaria. He's never on the bench either though :S

I think Tevez would suit Argentina much more than Higuain. And btw, Tevez is far better than Higuain if I hadn't had his problems off the pitch.

@The Game I meant he is underrated by the people not the club. you rarely hear someone says his name that much.

@Ihaveabbc +1 I would pick him over Higuain any day. :)

@tdot and Ihaveabbc - National Team Record - Tevez - Played - 62, Goals - 13, Assists - Don't know.
Higuain - Played 32, Goals - 20, Assists - 9. Higuain plays much better for Argentina than Real. Not sure why you have compared him to Di Maria since he plays purely as a winger. Lavezzi can play both.

I would personally play Tevez over Lavezzi or Di Maria (Tevez can play as inside forward as well) any day of the week.

Lavezzi is good on the wing and in strike.

Tevez doesn't play for Argentina due to a few disputes. He had a fallout with the manager and Tevez has been whinning about retirement for years, he doesn't get considered for his attitude.
