ROUND 2 of the African WCQ is almost complete. Here is how it looks

EGYPT, ALGERIA, IVORY COAST = definitely clinched their group.
TUNISIA, ETHIOPIA = have clinched their group for the moment BUT are being investigated by FIFA for fielding ineligible players which could jeopardize their chances.

DECIDING TIES on SEPTEMBER 6th, 2013:
Cameroon vs Libya (as it stand, Libya is up by 2 points BUT if Togo is found guilty of fielding an inelligble player, Cameroon will jump to 1st. either way their match will be the decider)
Senegal vs Uganda (Senegal are favourites. Uganda must win to have any chance)
Nig-eria vs Malawi (Nig-eria heavy favourites & have 2 point cushion)
CONGO (if they win their final match against bottom-dwealers Nig-er they will clinch the spot. If they slip up, Burkina Faso can sneak in)
GHANA vs ZAMBIA (separated by 1 point. this one will be interesting!)

The winners of each group (10 groups) will play each other in Round 3 (1x at home and 1x away). The top 5 of round 3 go to the WC.

I hope Egypt does it this time (we have more points than anyone else BUT there'll be some heavy competition in Round 3).
